Prologue

「有人需要妳的幫助。」

滿輕皺著眉，關心地看著眼前的婦人。天藍色的眼睛裡，一如往常般閃著柔和卻疏遠的眸光。

「妳還好嗎？」她略為彎下腰，使她能直視老婦人的臉。

婦人垂下的眼皮遮住了她大部分的眼眶，當她微笑時，臉上的皺紋如水波般散開。

「不是我，是『她』。」婦人指了指掛在滿脖子上的項墜。

滿深深地看著老婦人淺褐色的眼睛，她說：「為什麼『她』會需要我的幫助？」

「我不能告訴妳…」婦人嘆了口氣。「妳們的命運在某個時空出了差錯，我無法解釋。」

滿點點頭。

「我該怎麼做？」

「妳不問我是誰嗎？」婦人對滿異常高的接受度感到不可思議。

相對於婦人的驚訝，滿只是微微一笑。

「妳是三個命運之一……」她緩緩地說：「『過去』。」

Chapter1. The edge of nowhere

「Get up, slave！」

隨著吆喝聲傳來的，是一陣鞭子的抽打。

女孩默默地從地板上站起來，她的周圍擺著水桶和抹布，地上一片晶亮。她睜著一雙藍色的大眼，面無表情地看著拿著鞭子的衛士，一副順從地連手臂上隨著傷痕而留下的血也不敢去擦拭的樣子。只是如果你更仔細地看著她，你會注意到那雙鑲在骯張烏黑的臉蛋上的眼睛，那雙比海洋更藍的雙眼，深沉地閃著危險的光芒，如海嘯般，正隨時準備吞噬所有膽敢站在她面前的人。

「How may I serve you, sir？」女孩的聲音十分微弱，像是許久未曾好好進食與休息過的病人一樣。

「Lord Conqueror is back from the war. You must prepare for her highness coming.」那個士兵的眼光貪婪地流連在女孩身上。

女孩只穿著一件輕薄的白杉─就像皇宮內所有的奴隸一樣─有覺於士兵的視線，她只是挺直了背，並不感到任何羞慚。

“她回來了！”女孩的心狂跳不已。”就快了……就快要跟她見面了！”

她朝著士兵點點頭，準備經過他走去她下一個工作地方。

「Hey, don't leave so soon, girl.」士兵粗壯的手臂環繞在女孩纖細的腰隻上，他黝黑的臉笑的十分得意。「She is not back yet.....maybe I should teach you how to please a man who got a appetite like the conqueror.」

女孩兩隻手臂推著士兵肥厚的胸膛，她的表情絲毫不險慌亂。

「I belong to the conqueror, no one should touch me but her.」她說話的語氣隨著字句越顯嚴肅、冷然。

「Who cares？Just think of I can taste you before that she-demon......」士兵一把扯開女孩的胸襟，他笑的合不攏。「Oh yeah, that really turns me on！」

“這是極限了，你真的知道該怎麼激怒我。”女孩暗地嘆了口氣。

她悄悄地舉起右手，在士兵還來不及反應前，朝著他的脖子轉了一下。

「You got 30 seconds to apologize......」女孩看著因無法呼吸而痛苦地在地上打滾的士兵，她冷冷的說：「That'll teach you how not to displease a woman who got a temper like the conqueror.」

「Arrr......plea......ple......se......」士兵的鼻子開始流出血來，他的臉慢慢發紫。

「What？I did't here anything.」女孩蹲下身，輕柔一笑。

「Sorr......so......sorry......」

「Don't you ever, never lay your filthy hands on any women again. Or I swear to any god you name, you are gonna regret the day you boun.」

士兵的眼睛裡盈滿恐懼，他清楚地看到死亡的威脅在女孩稚嫩的臉上。

女孩朝著士兵的脖子再轉了一下，士兵頓時咳了一攤血在地上，他用力的吸了一口氣，終於感受到生命隨著空氣流回他的身體裡。

「What's going on here?」

女孩在聽到那個聲音時，整個人顫抖了一下。她比任何人都清楚，那清脆宏亮的嗓音，會在夜裡，在她的耳畔，略帶沙啞喃喃地訴說著那些話，那些，能解開萬年來用孤寂囚禁著她的話……那低沉性感的笑聲，比任何火焰更加熾熱，輕易地溶解她長久以來冰封的心。

「I am waiting.」聲音裡帶著煩躁和冷酷，如同下一秒就要張開利爪捕捉獵物的野獸。

女孩深吸一口氣。緩緩轉過身面對她等待已久的人，她存在的唯一理由，她的靈魂伴侶。

「It's an accident, my Lord.」

「I didn't give you a permission to talk, slave.」冷冷的目光在女孩身上游移著，她的嘴角揚起一抹笑容，慢慢地說：「But that again, it's never too late to train a slave. What do you say, Palimon？」

「Aye, Lord Conqueror.」叫Palimon的高壯男人，恭敬地回答。他英俊的臉上在聽到她要親身『訓練』那個女孩時閃過一絲同情。

女孩只是默默地低著頭，不敢相信自己此時的聲音。

「You,」森林般的綠眼裡有著黑色的波動，她看著仍躺在地上的士兵說：「You wanna taste my slave？」她朝著士兵的臉用力踩上去，一陣陣痛苦的聲音從士兵嘴裡傳來。「Wanna teach her how to plesae men？」她抽出掛在她腰際的長刀，鋒利的刀尖延著士兵的腰，慢慢往下移，停在他的跨下。「Think you are man enough, huh？」

「Oh, Gods, No！Please！Lord......」

「That’s right, boy, I AM YOUR LORD！」她一字一句冷冷地說著。拿著刀的手舉起，快速地往下劃去。

女孩轉過身，閉著眼睛，咬緊下唇聽著士兵淒冽的叫喊。

「Get him out of my sight.」明顯的不屑，她把手中沾滿血的刀子丟到一旁。她的注意力回到女孩的身上。「What's that, slave？」

女孩不解地看著眼前美麗高傲如同神祇般的王，她的手仍因幾秒前的血腥而止不住地發抖著。

「The trick you used on that pig.」她環著手臂，一副有了新玩具的小孩的表情。「What’s that？」

低下頭，女孩不曉得該怎麼回答。

「I am asking,」她粗魯地伸出兩根手指抬起女孩的下巴。「and you better answer me, slave, I know many ways to make a strong men beg for death, trust me, little one, you don’t even want to hear one of them.」

因痛苦而略帶水氣的海藍色大眼和深綠色的眼瞳相互糾纏。當女孩眨了一下眼睛時，忽略了一瞬間閃過綠眸中的困惑。

「I......I don't know what to say, my Lord.」

女孩看著王挑起了眉─那曾經她最熟悉最懷念的表情。

「Fine, teach me then.」她朝著門外等候差遣的奴隸說：「Prepare a bath, dinner, those clothes from Chin.......」她皺眉看著女孩手臂上還在流血的傷痕。「and sent a healer to my quarter.」

「As you wish, Lord Conqueror.」

Palimon聽到他的王竟然為了一個奴隸招換皇宮的醫者而感到訝異，要醫治一個奴隸還不如換新的一個還比較經濟。

「You, come with me.」她霸道的下完命令，轉身就往門口走出去。

「Lord Conqueror, the generals......」Palimon提醒她各將軍們都還在會議堂等候。

「......are all going home.」她不耐煩的揮揮手。「You too, Palimon, I don't want my second-in-commend's wife to wait too long, bisides......」她看著女孩玲瓏有緻的身體，露出一絲詭異的笑容。「I have my little salve to take care of, it's been a long time you know.」

Palimon看了女孩一眼。

「You are dismissed.」

他憨厚的個性使他在回話時顯得有些緊張。「Aye, Lord Conqueror.」

女孩安靜地聽著對話，藍色的大眼平靜無波。

『過去』嘆了口氣，認真地回答：「不……事實上，我一點也不這麼想。但，Lachesis,這是我們唯一的辦法。 」

『現在』─Lachesis─輕輕地撫著她銀白色的長髮，年輕典雅的臉上有著明顯的擔憂。「也許我們太心急了。」

「是『海王滿』太心急了。」

「Clotho,」『過去』─Atropos─看了她最小的妹妹一眼。「『她』是海王小姐最重要的人，妳應該能體會她的犧牲。 」

Clotho小小的身體輕輕一跳，跳上了皇宮的屋頂上。童稚的小臉漾著頑皮的天真，她說：「哼！我才不管他們人類在想什麼咧！反正未來都是已經注定好的。」

「唯有『現在』才能導向『未來』─」Lachesis柔柔地勸導著：「而不論是現在還是未來，都必須按照『過去』的軌跡。」

Clotho嘟著嘴，坐在屋底上的兩隻腳晃呀晃的。

「就知道妳們是一國的……」她咕噥著。

Atropos只是無奈地搖搖頭。「那個女孩的身體內是海王小姐的靈魂，這也就表示─」

「─我們必須保護她。」Lachesis點點頭。

「是的。保護那個女孩免於……被『她』所傷害。」Atropos的思緒沉重地飄到那對毫無溫度、冰綠色的眼眸。

Chapter.2　 The stranger in your eyes

這並不是夢。滿心想，她的視線習慣性地停留在地板上─但這並不是海王滿的習慣。而是這個身體一直以來便是以這樣的方式過生活─不要看著你的主人，降低你的視線，低下你的頭，讓你自己變的很小……也許當你變的夠小了，別人就不會注意到你的存在……不會用話羞辱你，不會處罰你，不會把你關在馬廝五天不進食……不會……在深夜召喚你……

「Take off your clothes.」

這是惡夢。

“冷靜下來，海王滿。妳知道她，她習慣說話時看著別人的眼睛，搜尋對方的真心。”滿警告著自己。”看著她，海王滿！”

看著『她』，挺直地站在她面前，全然的尊貴與高傲。『她』身上那副黑色發亮的盔甲，在陽光的照耀下透露著點點紅光，那是勝利的徽章，君臨天下的象徵，那是……血。

「Did you hurt？」滿緊張地問。

「Are you deaf or what, slave？I said take off your damned clothes.」

低沉的聲音在滿的耳裡就像是野獸的嘶吼，這使她不自覺地退了一步。「But...」

「Rule one, slave, don't ever question my order.」她直視著滿，冰冷的目光如同利刃般深刻在滿的靈魂裡。

雖然『她』只是那樣站著，但滿卻感到有人用手緊掐住她的脖子一樣，不僅無法說話，更難以呼吸。

滿尷尬的轉過身，遲疑地，慢慢解開她的衣服。

『她』的視線毫無迴避地流連在滿身上，那雙原本平靜冷然的綠湖霎時有了波動，如同早晨時光的森林般，盈滿了令人薰陶的朝霧，朦朧了『她』的雙眼，撫慰了『她』仍停留在戰場上的情緒。

滿深吸一口氣想平穩自己的心跳。

一直以來，她都了解自己對遙的影響。有許多夜晚，在每一次的激情裡，她總會聽到遙對她身體的讚嘆。遙會睜著她那雙翠綠的眼睛，用她因為長時間緊握方向盤而變得些微粗糙的大手，溫柔地記住她身體的每一吋，宣示她對她的主權。每一次遙帶給她的喜悅中，都提醒著滿，誰才是她開天闢地以來的愛人，誰才是那個讓她完整的靈魂。

「You are, indeed, a very beautiful woman...」她不敢相信自己的身體對這個奴隸的反應，她甚至必須在開口前先清一下喉嚨。「...and don't have any lash marks on your body too.」

『她』移動的姿勢像一頭精於捕殺獵物的豹，一頭極其美麗，不可思議的黑豹。『她』站在滿的面前，提起『她』的手。滿以為『她』要伸手碰觸她，但『她』只是把身上的披風脫下。

「Usually there's only one reason for keeping a slave in good condition like this...like you, and that is if they're good at what they do.」她粗魯地把披風丟到滿身上。

不曉得該如何回答，滿只是用披風緊緊包住自己。『她』的評論讓滿覺得羞愧，一股噁心感在她腹中翻滾著。

“所以……這就是我？一個供主人使用的玩物。”滿心想。不自覺地用手環住自己，卻不小心碰到手臂上的鞭痕。

滿疼痛地倒吸了一口氣。

「Take a bath before the healer arrives.」那聽起來幾乎像是關心。

「But, My Lord, what about you？」

「What did I said about the rule one？」

藍色的大眼充載著沮喪，滿點點頭，乖乖地進去剛準備好的大浴盆裡。

不過一會兒，熱水彷彿有著神奇的魔力般，讓滿緊繃的神經暫時得到了紓解。她不禁發出一聲滿足的嘆息。

而這個聲音引起了『她』的注意。

「When is the last time you take a rest？」綠眼對上了滿疑惑的表情，她突然轉過身，像是在咒罵自己的笨問題似的。

「Forgive me, My Lord, but the slave...we do not have the right to rest.」

「Yeah, right.」含糊不清的回答，她開始緩慢地解開身上的盔甲。

「May I help you with the armor, My Lord？」滿問著，準備起身。

「No, you may not.」

在滿還來不及為這簡短冷酷的話有所反應時，她聽到『她』繼續說：「Rule two, slave, do not touch me without my permission. After all, everyone loves their TWO hands, right？」

『她』淺淺地笑著，說話的口氣像是在教導小孩子一樣輕柔，但『她』眼神中的殺戮卻使的原本被熱水所溫暖的滿從頭到腳升起一股冷意。

「Yes, My Lord.」

無話可說，滿默默地坐在浴盆內。『她』冷漠的眼神，防衛性的態度，以及慘忍的話語，都在在地折磨著滿。

“堅強點，”滿深吸一口氣，決不讓眼眶中的淚流下。”妳必須堅強點。她需要妳。”

“而妳也需要她。”滿閉起眼睛，想像著現在的遙，不曉得在哪裡，又在做些什麼？

想像著遙溫和的微笑著，修長有力的手臂親密地搭上她的肩，湊在她耳邊低低地說著笑話。

想像著那隨風飛揚的金色短髮，在她的手指間是如何的柔軟；綠寶石的雙眼，在看著她時獨有的默契……

「Can I see your wound, Lady？」

滿被突然的聲音拉回了現實。她看著站在她眼前的老人，瘦乾的臉上帶著和藹的笑容。　

「Oh, yes, sorry...I was just...」

滿匆匆忙忙地站起身，驀地一陣暈眩襲來。但她並沒有如她預期般地跌倒在地，相反的，滿發現她正躺在一個柔暖的懷抱中，強壯的手臂保護性地抱著她。

當兩人視線相對時，滿清楚地看到一瞬間閃過綠眸中的擔憂。

“也許情況並沒有這麼糟。”滿綻開一抹由衷的笑，她害羞地低聲說：「Thank you.」

「Get your lazy ass out off of the tub, NOW！」低吼。

“也許情況比我想的還糟。”滿嘆了一口氣。「I am sorry, My Lord.」

滿小心翼翼地，盡量不要碰到傷口的穿上衣服。她發覺這些衣服不僅比之前還柔軟，還舒適，也比她奴隸的衣服還更暖和許多。

“這是絲綢？”滿驚訝地想著。

「Ah...it's not as bad as it looks.」老醫生一邊縫著滿的傷口一邊這麼說，不過他卻是跟他的王在交談的。

「Ow！」

「She said, Ow！」她環著手臂，居高臨下地看著坐在椅子上的滿，最後到老醫生身上。

「It would help if the lady here could manage to keep still for a few moments.」老醫生柔和地說。

「Sorr...」

「Well, You're doing something differently because it never used to hurt like this.」

「And, Lord Conqueror, how do you know what the lady's feeling？」

「It’s really not that hur...」

「Because I AM THE LORD.」

聽到這樣孩子氣的回答，老醫生只是苦笑地搖搖頭。

「Karus, Why don't you use the ointment that can temporarily deadens the area to the touch？」

「You wish me used the ointment on the lady？」老醫生的表情簡直像見鬼了。

「That's what I just said, isn't it？」不耐煩的回話。

Karus點點頭。「As you wish, Lord Conqoeror.」

滿充滿歉意地看著老醫生。「It's not that hurt now, really, I know they are extremely difficult to make─」

「Be quiet, slave, we don't have much time.」

滿必須咬緊下唇，才能克制自己不發出挫敗沮喪的聲音。

老醫生同情地看了滿一眼，繼續做著他的工作。不過他卻發覺了他的王對這個奴隸的特別照顧。

過了一會兒，Karus縫完了傷口，輕聲叮嚀滿說：「Keep it dry, I would suggest you see me later and I will wrap a bandage around it to keep it clean, lady.」

「Thanks.」滿微微一笑。當醫生把藥膏塗上她的傷口後，她就幾乎感覺不到任何疼痛感了。「But I am just, as you know, a slave. I m not sure if I'll have time to see you, sir.」

Karus看著他的王，想知道接下來該怎麼做。

「She'll see you later,」她說：「After dinner.」

「Very well.」Karus淺棕色的眼睛還是一直盯著『她』。「What about you, Lord Conqueror, did you get hurt form the war？」

「Fine, just a few scratch here and there.」她揮揮手，示意他可以退下了。「You've done a good job, Karus, you are dismissed.」

Karus恭敬地行禮，等他走到門口時，他又轉過身說：「Oh, by the way, Lord Conqueror, wellcome home.」

她只是對他點點頭。「It's feel good to be...the palace again.」

等到老醫生離開後，『她』淡淡地對坐在椅子上的滿說：「Tonight, after you see the hearler, come back to here...」邪氣的笑容與充滿慾望的眼神訴說了一切。「...fed, bathed and dressed properly. I may have need of your services.」

滿深吸了一口氣。低下頭不讓『她』看到她眼底顯而易見的恐懼。

「I won't let you disappoint, My Lord.」

滿的視線緊盯著正不斷忙著選衣服的婦人。整個下午，從滿至醫生那裡回來後，就被眼前這個非常健談的婦人拉著試穿衣服。

滿的表情沉了下來。「I beg your pardon？」

「Well, speak at least.」Delia寬厚的臉漾著一抹爽朗的笑容。「Just for a moment there, I thought you were a mute or something.」

「Or something.」滿冷漠地說。

「Ah...aren't you a little fighter？」Delia終於選好一件衣服遞給滿。「Here, try it. The Conqueror loves blue.」

滿嘆了一口氣，聽話地穿上婦人替她挑選的衣服。柔軟的絲綢服貼在滿的身上， 讓她瘦弱的身軀更顯嬌小，但卻突顯出她姣好的體型。

Delia滿意地點點頭。「The dress brings out the color of your baby blue eyes. Bet The Conqueror'll be very pleased.」她示意滿坐到椅子上，指了指桌上的食物。「And you know, a happy conqueror always makes people around her happy.」

婦人提起『她』時那種隨意的態度，如同多年的好友，並不像正在談論那個讓全希臘人民害怕恐懼的帝王。

這引起滿的興趣。

「You are not a slave, are you？」滿挑弄著她盤中的食物，假裝隨意地問。

「No, child, I am a hird woman.」眼見她的工作完美地結束，Delia也坐到滿的面前，喝起茶來。「I am not one of her slaves, I know which in itself, was odd enough.」

「How long have you been working for her？」

「Long enough, child, long enough.」

滿看著眼前年約五十的婦人，她天藍色的雙眼變得柔和許多。

「Then, you must know her very well.」她輕輕地說。

「Well, I've known her since she was a little girl, then I've saw her fought for her hometown, heared her cried for the lose of people she loved...」Delia深褐色的眼睛裡滿佈著痛苦的回憶和說不出的心痛。「I have saw a gentle soul lost, and become a bloodthirsty, brutal warlord that Greece has ever had...so yes, child, I think I know her very well.」

雖然滿已經聽『過去』說過這些故事，但Delia的話還是讓她心裡抑制不住一陣刺痛。

一個十七歲的少女，在烽火連天的希臘城邦中與她的同胞們抵禦那些帶著軍隊的軍閥。那場雅典之戰，是一切事情的開端。少女所領導的人民雖然贏了戰爭，但是付出的代價卻是殘破的家園和失去所愛的人。當連自己的親人都無法諒解她時，少女離開了她的故鄉。開始了她征服世界的旅程，也開啟了往後十年間希臘的恐怖統治時期。

「The Black Knight of Athens...」滿喃喃地說。

「That is what she's used to be.」Delia臉上帶著無奈的微笑。

滿下意識地握緊她放在大腿上的雙手。她深深地看著婦人，藍色的大眼充滿無盡的憂傷，以及不滅的堅定。「And, that's what she is going to be, again.」

「I see the fire in your eyes, maybe that's why she choosed you in the first place.」Delia輕輕地握著滿的手，她用一種柔和慈愛如同母親般的聲音說：「People said that she is daughter of Hades, but I have faith in her, child, sometimes I still can feel that little girl inside of her cold mask.」

「That is my job to guide her to the right path then.」滿回以她輕柔一如往常的笑容。

Delia認真的看著滿，不僅看到她眼底的同情，也看到她和自己一樣有著相同的信念。她不禁感謝起上蒼終於回應了她長久以來的祈禱。

「First rule of dealing The Conqueror in person, my dear, is always speak the truth. She can read our thoughts.」

Chapter 3. So close, so far　

也許是夜晚寒冷的空氣使滿下意識地抖了一下。她站在紅色大門前，深吸一口氣來平穩她的心跳。

「Enter.」

門內的聲音比平常更低沉了些，略帶沙啞像是深夜枕邊滿熟悉的嗓音。

滿打開門第一件事便是提醒自己記得呼吸。

站在窗戶前的『她』只穿著一件亞麻色的長袍，赤裸的白色雙足在紅色地毯上顯得異常纖細。白天綁成辮子的長髮鬆開，恣意地散落在『她』寬闊強健的肩膀上，黃金色的髮絲在月亮的照耀下竟散發出比太陽更強烈的光芒。

完美的唇畔揚起，『她』冰綠色的雙眼難得地帶著笑意。

「Come here, girl.」

性感的音調誘惑著滿的感官，她快速地低下頭。滿幾乎克制不住她自己─她的身體呼喊著她愛人的撫觸，渴求著那只有遙才能帶給她的喜悅。

她顫抖地走向前，藍色與綠色的眼睛各自閃耀著相同的慾望。

「I see Delia has done well.」她輕輕地托起滿的臉蛋，修長的食指撫摸著滿的唇，像是代替她的舌頭正在淺嚐這嘴唇所擁有的甜蜜。

滿緊閉著雙唇。她深怕一但她打開了嘴巴，便會無法克制地呻吟出聲。

「Why so quite now, little one？」她的手輕柔地撥著滿前額的髮絲，綠色的眼睛深深地注視著滿。「I kind of miss your sweet voice you know.」

「I...」滿停頓了一下，閉緊雙眼想冷靜下來。「My Lord, I---」

「Yeah, I really like it.」她湊向前，兩人的額頭輕輕碰觸。「The way you call me...”Your Lord”, as if you belong to me already. No one calls me that but you...and certainly no one ever made me want to have them but you...」

「I am.」滿輕輕地回答。

綠眼閃著疑惑，『她』柔柔地問：「What？」

「Yours.」

滿不知道她們就這樣看著彼此有多久，感覺像只有幾秒鐘，但滿知道，她們兩人帶給彼此的震撼，在眼神交會間已經在靈魂中烙下了身身世世。

也許在以後，在她們的記憶裡都已不再有彼此，但深刻在靈魂中的命運，卻讓她們在每一世的初次見面中都能感受到這份最原始的悸動。

這份渴望著被完整的悸動。

帶著連自己都難以相信的溫柔，『她』親吻著滿的嘴唇，感受那一如『她』所想的甜蜜。

『她』的左手支持著滿嬌弱的身軀，右手則技巧性的伸進滿的藍色袍子內。

滿將頭埋在『她』的頸項間，低低的發出一聲喜悅的嘆息，彷彿在邀請『她』更進一步的探索。

「You got the bluest eyes I've ever seen...」她在滿的耳邊說著，沉重的氣息裡帶著急欲爆發的慾望。「...full of fire and ice...how come I never noticed you before, little one？」

「I am new in the palace...」滿喘著氣，感受到身體在那雙大手的引導下起了熟悉的反應。「By the gods...」

「Nah...」低低一笑，她輕鬆地抱起滿往她的大床走去。「The gods have nothing to do with this...this's me who makes you feel, my little one. And the only name you can cry out later is mine.」

她們兩人都知道接下來會導向怎樣的結局──如果不被人打擾的話。

『她』惡狠狠地對著外頭敲門的人低吼。「Haven't I gave a order that I don't want anyone disturb me tonight？」

「Fogive me, Lord Conqueror, but you expressed a wish to speak to the prisoner immediately once he's awake.」門外的人恭敬地回答。Palimon的聲音中帶著他貫有的勇氣與忠實。

『她』把滿溫柔地放在床舖上，煩躁和沮喪充斥著她的綠眼。

「You can rest here while I am gone.」她嘆了口氣。「I need to cool off, duty calls.」

「Will you be safe, My Lord？」

滿關心地伸出手輕拉著『她』的衣袖，但『她』卻甩開了滿的手。

「Just do as I said, girl.」冷酷的音調一掃之前房間裡火熱的氣息。

滿低下頭不讓『她』看到她眼裡的痛。

「I will be here when you are back.」滿的聲音有著明顯的疲憊，她的手臂已經隨著她的心開始在隱隱作痛。

但滿卻不知道，當『她』離開房間時，綠色眼睛裡帶著的沉重悔意。

滿起身走至剛才『她』站立的窗前，看著『她』之前看著的夜景，想著『她』是用怎樣的心情，一個人孤獨地站在這片星空下？

在同樣的外表下，有著兩顆不同的心。相同翠綠的雙眼裡，卻充滿兩種極端的感情。

「妳已經退縮了嗎？」

滿轉過身看著Atropos，輕柔的回答：「要退去哪呢？我的命運和她緊緊相連，她所走的道路就是我的道路。」

「即使那最後只會導致滅亡？」Lachesis專注地看著滿。

「在漫長的時空裡，我曾和她一起生，也曾和她一起死。不管是怎樣不同的命運，不同的世界和不同的身分，我們兩人的靈魂還是會在海天各方，引導我們走向彼此的道路---到最後的最後，我們還是會在一起。」滿微微一笑。「所以我終於發覺，對我們而言，並沒有毀滅。每一次的分離都是為了再一次的相遇。」

「那妳就放棄這一世的她吧！」Clotho諷刺的說：「反正如同妳說的，妳們總是會再見到彼此的---」

「而每一次分開的痛都讓人難以忍受。」滿轉過身看著雅典的星空。「那是我的靈魂被硬生生地剝離—我存在的一切價值都在分離中殞滅。也許我會放棄我自己，但我絕不會放棄她。」

滿的思緒飄到她所聽到的故事，那個關於充滿勇氣的少女到最後卻成了殘酷的統治者的故事。

「無論如何，海王小姐，希望妳知道我們都會在這裡保護妳的。」Atropos緩緩地嘆了口氣。「這是我們唯一能為妳做的補償。」

「謝謝…」滿說，有點遲疑的。「我是指，剛才…」

「我知道妳深愛著她。」Atropos乾癟的臉上有著睿智的笑容。「我也知道即使妳所有的理性都在阻止妳，但妳的身體還是無法抗拒。」

對於『過去』的話，滿只是臉紅的低下頭。她尷尬的說：「我知道我們…不過，還不是時候，我不想讓事情變得比現在還要複雜。」

「是這樣嗎？」Clotho大刺刺的說：「我倒覺得妳剛才還蠻享受的---」

「我想我們應該離開好讓海王小姐歇息一下。」Lachesis打斷她小妹的話，對滿抱以歉意的笑容。「這是個非常難熬的一天，而往後的每一天只怕會比今天更需要妳的耐力。」

「還有『體力』---」

「Clotho！」『過去』和『現在』急忙地抓著『未來』消失在滿的面前。

滿只是苦笑地嘆了口氣。

「So...」坐在陰冷濕暗的地牢內，她無聊地玩著手中的長鞭。「...give me a reason why I shouldn't just kill you now, Brutus？」

叫Brutus的男人睜著他那雙腫脹的眼睛，上半身滿是被鞭打的傷痕。他並沒有被鎖鏈所箝住，甚至身旁也沒有半個人抓住他。可是他仍是趴在地上，虛弱地連話也回不了。

「You know, I've heared of you. Caesar's little pet. His lap dog. You go when he says ‘go,’ come if he says ‘come.’」她狂妄地笑著說：「Does he tell you when you can relieve yourself？」

『她』的長鞭揮下，在男人的背上留下另一條清楚的鞭痕。「I am asking, little man, have Caesar ever treated you as a warrior not a puppy？」

「Arrr！For the love of Rome！」男人痛苦地叫了出聲。「You...are...nothing but...a bitc--」

Brutus的話沒說完，就被Palimon踢了一腳。

「Behave yourself, Roman pig！」

『她』欣賞地看了Palimon一眼，緩緩地站起身來。「You see, Brutus, I'd never treat my second that way.」『她』蹲在Brutus的面前，一字一句有力地說著：「I'd honor a man who could think and would be willing to take a stand for what he believed in.」

Brutus虛弱地喘著氣，他只希望眼前的惡魔能快點殺了他。

「Here's a deal, Brutus. Once I release you, you'd have to kill Caesar, not for me, Brutus, for you, for your love of Rome.」她溫和地輕聲說：「You are a fine warrior, and that's what Caesar doesn't need. I know he always says that he loves Rome...」她的手指劃著男人的面頰，輕柔地一如正在撫摸著愛人的肌膚。「...but for him, Brutus, he IS Rome.」

黑色的雙眼看著『她』美麗如女神般的面龐，Brutus低低地問著：「You'll let me go？...even though I would never betray my friend？」

「Oh, I wouldn't know that.」她微笑著。「But yes, the day after tomorrow, Brutus, you'll on your way home.」

『她』示意Palimon把牢房關上。「Think about what I said, and ask yourself that you want to lead Rome to the road of glory, or let Caesar has all his way.」

「What can you gain after he died？」

『她』展開一抹自信的笑容。「A friend who knows what's best for their people.」

當『她』回到房間後，發現『她』美麗的奴隸已經在『她』的床上睡著了。看著床上那嬌小的身軀，『她』不禁升起一股保護慾。但『她』又隨即搖搖頭。

「Must be the certain age...」她諷刺著自己，綠色的眼睛停留在女孩年輕稚嫩的臉蛋上。她發現即使在睡眠裡，女孩的雙眉仍是微微地皺著，彷彿有什麼事情在她睡著時仍緊緊地纏繞著她。

『她』輕柔地撥開女孩垂落鬢角的髮絲。

「You know I don't want to have any chance to harm you...」她在女孩的額頭上輕輕地落下一吻。「...so my little one, don't ever betray me like them...」

當滿醒來時，天還沒亮。她發現自己被一雙強壯的手臂緊緊抱住，手臂的主人就像怕她會在『她』睡夢中溜走一樣。

滿深深地看著『她』的睡臉，那唯有在睡著時才會略為放鬆的線條。

「我們是這麼的近...」滿輕聲地說著：「但卻又是如此的遙遠...」

睡覺的人像是在回應滿的話似的，『她』咕噥地應了一聲，把滿抱的更緊。

在熟悉的氣息中，她滿足地縮進溫暖的懷抱裡。在這一夜，滿只想假裝所有的事物都一如往常。

 “I am in the palace…right?”她緩慢地起身，整理身上那件亞麻色的浴袍。她深吸一口氣，感受著皇宮裡的早晨。嚴肅沉重的微和感，緊繃低調地連沉默的聲音都大的嚇人，這是在她一生裡再熟悉不過的感覺。 孤獨。

 「Yup…definitely in the palace.」她喃喃地念著。轉著有些僵硬的脖子，她覺得她似乎忘了什麼。 回頭看著空蕩蕩的大床，她的眉毛因為思考而緊皺著。

”Right…my little slave. Where is she anyway？” “Should have taken care of the girl first…”她揚起一抹邪惡的笑容。

”…that way, she would't be able to walk in the morning.” 

「Good morning, Lord Conqueror.」 她面無表情的點點頭，盯著在她面前忙碌地整理房間的女人，她拿起早已準備好放在桌上的茶。

「Anya, where is my slave？」

 Anya，跟那些奴隸不同，她是少數幾個由自己意願選擇來皇宮工作的人。五年前，她開始只服伺『她』一個人，也在同時成為掌管宮中奴隸們的主管。Anya一直是個很聰明的女人，她知道什麼時候『她』需要什麼，也知道什麼時候該離『她』遠遠的。在某些程度上，她還算是個值得託付事情的女人。 『她』知道Anya有三個小孩，最大的兒子也不過十四歲，但卻已經有著二十歲青年的體格。而她的丈夫則已經當了皇宮侍衛有八年了，照理說Anya不應該會為了生計問題需要工作才對-----而讓『她』更不解的是，怎麼會有人自願來宮中工作，更別說是成為『她』的貼身伺女？所有的人都知道『她』的個性陰晴不定，嗜血成性。在過去許多被『她』所殺的人中，就有不少只是因為『她』不喜歡他們看著『她』的眼神和方式而已。

 事實上，『她』曾經偶然聽到Anya和她丈夫的爭論。很明顯的，她的丈夫也跟『她』有著同樣的疑惑。『她』還記得Anya的丈夫那副恐懼焦慮的語氣----- 想到這，『她』冷冷一笑。

”The man is very wise.”

 「Which one？」Anya專注地看著她的主人，她知道『她』問的是誰。

 『她』喝了一口茶，淡淡地說：「The gire who slept in my bedchamber last night.」 

「Oh, Sara, you mean？」想到那個不同於其他奴隸，有著異常氣質和禮節的女孩，Anya微微一笑。

「She left very early, saying something important…something about Hope, I guess.」

 「Hope？」 

“Oh oh…me and my big mouth.”Anya暗罵自己，她謹慎地回答：「Hope is Sara's daughter, Lord Conqueror.」

 「She has a daughter？」她驚訝地放下杯子，回想昨夜那個看似柔弱卻在受了鞭打後仍沒有吭一聲的倔強女孩。”Hades！She is barely a woman！” 「Yes, Lord Conqueror.」 『她』皺著眉，環著手臂。

「I see…and…how old is she？」

 「Sara is 19 summers old, conqueror.」 挑起眉，『她』露出『她』一貫令人發寒的微笑，輕輕的問：「You know her very well, Anya. You wouldn't happen to know every slave in the palace as well as you do her, would you？」 

Anya看著那雙冰綠色的眼睛慢慢地轉為深色，她緊張地吞了口水。

「We…she…umm…Sara and I have talked a few times, Lord Conqueror.」她深吸一口氣。「She is a good girl, very kind and gentle.」 「And quite beautiful.」

 Anya看著『她』的眼睛恢復平常的翠綠，心中總算放下了大石。「That she is, conqueror, she is.」 ------------------------------------------------------- Chapter 4. A Twist of Fate

 「I can't believe I forgot my own daughter…」藍色的大眼充載著自我厭惡，她快速地走向奴隸們住的地方。

「…I can't believe I run away like that…」 她嘆了口氣。 今天早上醒來，滿克制著想撫摸那柔軟金髮的衝動，屏住呼吸小心翼翼地把環在她腰間的手臂拿開。她還記得，當她握著那雙大手時，她所感受到的溫暖與那股蓄勢待發的力量。 那雙手，那臂膀，那永遠都能帶給她心安的懷抱…那取走她所有感官，卻也帶給她所有感情的人。

 「She's not going to like it.」滿又嘆了口氣。 在還沒被那份強大的力量所控制前，滿換上奴隸的衣服，比逃命還快地離開『她』的房間。滿知道，只要瞄一下那雙綠眼，她便沒有機會好好做她『該』做的事了。

 「Gods…I am so weak…can't even look at her in the eye…can't even remember my own daughter！」滿加快腳步，邊罵著自己。

「You need help, girl, you're losing it.」 滿想到離開前跟Anya短暫的交錯。

 Anya當時一副震驚的表情，十分擔心地問著滿的『狀況』。 <…no.> 滿想到這裡臉又紅了起來。當時她就是紅著一張臉，急著解釋著她並沒有受到任何傷害，只是Anya還是一臉懷疑的樣子。

 「Ooops！」 在滿神游的時候，一個小小的身影從

花園的草叢中跑了出來，正好撞上滿。 「Hope！」滿急忙蹲下身，擔心地看著她的女兒-----或者應該說，這個身體的女兒。

「You alright？Did you hurt yourself？」 「Mama！」小小的身體緊緊地抱著滿，開心地說：「I am good, Mama. You？」 看著那雙和自己一模一樣的藍色大眼，滿溫柔的笑著：「So am I, Sweetheart.」滿輕鬆的抱起女兒，摸著她金黃色的頭髮，她霎時有些迷亂。

 「So much like her…」她低低地跟自己說著。 「Mama？」小手摸著滿的臉頰，Hope偏著頭關心地看著她的母親。

 輕輕地甩甩頭，滿把心神放在眼前那紅通通的小臉上。 

「Hope, tell me, what are you doing here？Didn't mama tell you to stay with Patrec？」 Patrec也是奴隸的小孩，是個很實在的青年。滿知道他把Hope當成自己的妹妹一樣的疼愛，所以滿很放心讓女兒跟他在一起。

 「Mama I am sorry…but Pat has work…mister Mean told him to wash the horses’ house…」Hope一張小臉擠在一起，快要哭的樣子。

「I didn't want to be seen, so I…I am sorry, mama, don’t be mad at me…please？」 Mr.Mean？ Drakaus.

 「Hope, it's alright. You didn't do anything wrong, I am not mad at you.」滿輕聲地說著：「However, do not call Drakaus mister Mean again, Hope.」

 「But…but he is so mean！」 

「Yes, he is.」滿露出一抹苦笑。

 Drakaus也是個奴隸，卻仗著人高馬大，曾經當過保鑣的身分，擺出一副比其他的奴隸們都還高一等的姿態。不是命令別人做他的工作，就是閒來無事愛招惹是非。滿想到幾次跟他的接觸，她就起了一陣噁心感。Drakaus已經不只一次對滿提出污穢的『邀請』了，滿知道，他對自己真正有所行動也只是時間問題而已。 滿雖然有自信能保護自己，可是她不能讓她的女兒冒任何危險。 

「Honey, listen to me carefully here, Drakaus is a bad person, you have to stay as far as you can away from him, OK？」

 「I knew it！」Hope皺著眉.「I knew he is a bad guy！He is so mean, and nasty, and…and…Oh！I know！And he is so ugly！」 滿忍不住笑著搖搖頭。

「Yes, you are right, Hope, that's why you have to avoid him.」 

「But---」小嘴巴嘟起來。 

「No buts, Hope.」 

「Bu…OK…I will listen to you, mama.」 滿意地看著自己的女兒，她還想說些什麼，但眼角卻捕捉到前方遠處的一個身影。 「Great, just my luck…」滿喃喃念著。她趕緊放下女兒，匆匆忙忙地說：「Hope, Drakaus is coming. I want you to do…whatever you want to do, just leave here quickly and quietly, OK？」 「But he is a bad guy！Can't leave you alone！Hope want to protect Mama！」

 「Oh…Honey…」滿感動地緊緊抱著女兒。「I know you want to protect mama, and I am sure you can. But I'll be fine, sweetheart.」她在她緊皺著的眉間留下一吻。

”By the gods, she's really like her！So protective…”

「Leave now…my Hope.」 ------------------------------------------------------- 

站在訓練廣場上，『她』對著士兵們滿意地點點頭。 「Warrors！」她大聲說：「You all have done well in the battle, and you have showed your courage by fighting with those roman pigs. For that, you will all be parts of glory, the heart of Empire！」 

「For the Empire！For the conqueror！」士兵們高聲喊著。 

『她』微微地笑著，深綠色的眼睛裡閃著戰爭的熱情光輝，和死神般的冷酷。 「Rest now, wrriors. You have long time behind to celebrate…after the death of Caeser！」

 「Death to Rome！Foy the conqueror glory！Death to Rome！」 『她』把長劍掛在腰際上，準備離開廣場。「You have the men, Palimon.」

 「Aye, conqueror.」Palimon彎著腰，恭敬地目送他的王離開。 ------------------------------------------------------- “Ah…a nice day to train the men.”

她滿意地看著朗朗晴空，藍色的天空讓她想到…”…a nice day to play, too.” 邪惡的笑容又出現在『她』臉上。

 「Now, just let me find my little slave…」 ”…and do the thing you want to do since last night.”她跟自己說著。 

「Ooch！」 “What the tartarus…”她皺眉看著因為撞到她而跌倒在地上的小孩。

「What in the gods name are you doing here, kid？」

 「Ooohh, gods…that hurts！」小手按著撞到金屬劍柄的頭。 “Damn, no time for this.”她從衣領一把抓起小女孩，綠色的眼睛對上那雙熟悉的藍色大眼。這使她的眉頭更加深鎖。

「Go back to your parents now, kid.」

 「Can't…」Hope也皺著眉，然後她終於發現到自己被提的高高的。

「Eeeewww！」她害怕地抓著眼前有點嚇人但又很漂亮的金髮女子的衣服。

「Whoowa！」她突然咯咯笑著。

「You are so tall, lady！」 

“What？Either she is just a stupid kid or she is too brave to her own good.”

她壓低聲音威脅性的說著：「Look, kid, go back to wherever you came from before I do it myself, and by then, you wouldn’t be such a happy girl, got it？」 

「But I can't！」沒有被嚇到，Hope反而委屈地嘟起小嘴抗議的說：「Mama doesn't want me to be near her now.」

 「What kind of gods-be-damned mother doesn't want her daughter to be with her？」 

「Hey！」Hope生氣地看著眼前這個有著跟她一樣髮色的女人。

「Don'talk about mama like that！…or…or…」

 「Or…」她挑起眉，慢慢地說：「…you will what, kid？」

 「Or…or…I'll…」藍色眼睛沮喪無比。「…you are so mean. You know I am too small.」 

「Yup, I am. Don't ever forget that, girl.」 『她』嘆了口氣，看著那雙有著奇怪熟悉感的藍色大眼慢慢地擠滿淚水。

 “Damn…what has I got myself into？A little blue-eyed crying monster is certainly not my idea of having fun.”她抱著女孩開始往花園走去。

「Look, I am going to put you in the garden, and then-----」

 「Nooo！」Hope大聲叫著。

 “Now what？”她翻了下白眼，停下腳步。 「No, no, no！Not garden, lady！」 

「I will carry you to whatever place I wish to.」 

「But…no, you can't, lady！Mama is in the garden too！」

 「Well…」她看著那張緊張的小臉，笑的非常得意。「Another excellent reason I shell put you in there.」 

「No, lady…」淚水溢滿了藍色大眼，Hope緊抓著『她』的衣領，哽咽的說：「A big bad guy is with Mama now…Mama doesn't want me to be seen by him.」 

聽到這句話，『她』面無表情地看著佈滿淚水的小小臉蛋。 「I…I want to protect Mama…but Mama said no…」繼續哭著，Hope看著美麗的綠色眼睛，她小小聲的說：「I am too small, too little…」 「Well, I am not.」冰綠色的雙眼又深沉了起來。 ------------------------------------------------------- 「Hey there, beautiful.」 看著眼前露出一口黃牙，令人作噁的男人，滿冷淡地說：「Drakaus.」 

「Oh, C'mon, no need to be so distant.」Drakaus伸出手要摸滿的臉，滿則適時地往後退了一步。

「I missed you last night, you know.」他邪惡的笑著。 

「No, I don't.」滿準備從他身旁繞過去。

「If you would excuse me-----」 

「So, the conqueror took you to bed last night, huh？」 聽到這句話，滿突然僵硬地站在原地。原本溫柔的深藍色眼睛突然降低了溫度。

 「Non of your business, Drakaus.」

 「Oooh, a bit bitchy today, huh？」他還是笑著。

「Didn't the conqueror satisfy your need？Ha, I knew it, how can women compare with men anyway？」 

「Drakaus, is there any single reason that we should continue this conversation？」滿握緊了拳頭，但她的聲音還是十分平淡。 

「Of course！」Drakaus黑色的眼睛淫穢地看著她。

「Since we all know you are a body slave, Sara, stop acting like a virgin. I am going to show you a real man.」 「I am not a body slave.」滿的臉此時已經完全無血色，她快克制不住心中的憤怒了。

 「Yeah, whatever.」Drakaus說：「Well, unfortunately, I need to check out the stable.」他抓住滿的手腕，警告性十足的親了一下。

「Until next time, sweetie.」 滿站在原地，看著Drakaus驕傲地離開。她深吸了好幾口氣，但是身體還是因為盛怒而不住地顫抖著。 滿知道在還沒被到皇宮前，這個叫Sara的女孩，就已經當了九年的奴隸。當她聽Atropos說完這女孩一生的遭遇後，她真的忍不住為這麼可憐的靈魂而哭泣。 難怪她會把自己的女兒取名為Hope. 「Oh, gods, I need to find Hope.」 想到她五歲的女兒，滿轉過身想往她離開的方向走去。沒想到她卻正對著那雙冷酷的深綠色雙眼。

 「”Your Hope” is with Anya now.」冷冷的說著，她的眼神飄到滿的手背上。 

「My lord…how…」

 「Well, since some mom doesn't want her child to be with her when she's flirting with man, I guess that's just my duty as a ruler to watch over my subject.」

刺人般的綠色雙眼盯著那雙震驚的海藍色眼眸，揚起抹冷酷的笑容，她輕聲地問著：「Do you not think so, my little one？」 

「No！I mean…it's not…」滿頓了頓，平靜一下自己的情緒。「It's not what you think, my Lord.」 

「I know what I saw, slave！」突然地抓著滿被Drakaus親了一下的手腕，她粗魯地把滿拉向自己，讓她們的距離近到可以在兩人的眼睛中看到彼此。

「Maybe I didn't make myself clearly yesterday, girl, but listen to me now-----」 滿咬緊嘴唇，不讓自己因手腕上的痛苦發出一點聲音。 

「YOU are MY PROPERTY, and no one, do you understand？No one touchs my property, not even the king of the gods himself！」

 「I didn't-----」 「HUSH, slave！」她加重了手的力道。 滿痛苦地閉上眼睛，但隨即看向沒有溫度的綠色雙眼，強迫自己不能逃開。 

「From now on, if you are in company of another, I want his head. If you are a runaway, I want yours！」 滿咬緊牙關說：「I understand, my Lord.」 『她』的視線審視著滿幾秒，才終於放開滿的手。 滿並沒有揉著自己疼痛的左手腕，因為那痛比不過她手臂上昨天所受的傷，可那傷卻也比不過現在她心裡的那道傷口。 『她』突然微微一笑。

 「And don't forget that little bastard of yours, what would happen to her, if anything happen to you first？」 

「She is not a bastard.」 藍色和綠色的雙眼對峙。『她』用著危險的音調慢慢地問：「What did you just say？」 

「Hope is my daughter, she is not a bastard.」滿語氣堅定的說。「I will not allow anyone call her like that.」 她可以忍受任何人的污辱，但她絕不能讓任何人污辱她的女兒。 任何人都不行。

 「Oooh…I see…」嘴角的笑容增大，但綠色的眼睛卻深的不見底。「You will not allow, huh？」 她突然哈哈大笑了起來。「

Maybe we should make you remember who is-----」手不自覺地摸著腰際的劍柄，她慢慢地說：「----the conqueror.」 「Guards！」她大喊，一下子從她的身後出現兩個衛兵。

「Take this slave to the yard and summoned all the slaves to there as well.」

 「Aye, Lord Conqueror.」

 「Now, little one, you know what I am going to do？」 

滿看著那微笑的臉龐，她只是面無表情的說：「You are going to punish me for being a mother.」慢慢地，她也露出一抹微笑。「How fair of you, “Lord Conqueror”.」 一瞬間，有什麼東西閃過那雙冰綠色的眼睛。在滿還來不及下定論前，她就被士兵帶了下去。

「Aphrodite, leave us along, we don't have time for meaningless small talk.」Clotho瞪著站在她們眼前的女人說道。

「Gee, little Auntie, you've really got to work on your manners you know.」拍拍她身上那件薄得幾乎透明的粉紅薄紗，女人委屈般地嘟起嘴。

「Aphrodite,」Atropos乾啞的聲音裡也有著同樣的焦急。「The girl is in danger.」

「We have to save her.」Lachesis接著說，看著女人一副悠閒的樣子，她不禁皺起眉。

「No, no, no,」女人摸摸自己長及腰部的金黃色捲髮，再看看修得完美的指甲。「Don't play with the mortals' lives, Dad said.」

「And that's what exactly you and your brother have been doing, isn't it？Playing with mankind like they are some kind of toys.」Clotho諷刺的說。

「Oh, plllleeaaase,」Aphrodite癟嘴說道：「I am, after all, the goddess of love, those mortals can't fall in love without me you know.」

「Without you, they are just fine.」

「Dite, you are the goddess of love, surely you can see those two are meant to be together.」Lachesis輕聲地提醒。

「Yeah, yeah, soulmates and all that, I know.」Aphrodite揮揮手說：「But you heard what Dad said, and boy, was he reeeallly pissed off.」

「Zeus's angry about Ares for being so obsessed with the Conqueror that he even destroyed the loom, and changed their fates.」Atropos說。

「Well…what can I say, big bro really has his taste on woman.」轉轉眼睛，Aphrodite露出一抹美艷的笑容。「Not that I blame him, the tall, gorgeous and deadly is a baby you know. I mean just look those mist green eyes and the legs...oh, those legs really can go on forever...and that sexy deep voice...gods, that's just soooo “bedroom”！」

「I really don't have to listen to this.」搖搖頭，Clotho轉頭走向別的地方。

Atropos嘆了口氣，有時候她實在不曉得要怎麼跟她這位姪女溝通才好。「Aphrodite, the Conqueror’s meant to be so much more, not just a bloodthirsty warlord that Ares wants her to be, and certainly not a heartless killer that the whole Greece people have come to know.」

「Well, you three are the fates, you decide what kind of life the mortals are going to have to live.」Aphrodite無所謂地聳聳肩，她真的不太介意這整件事。

「Yes, and Ares changed all that.」Lachesis的語氣還是十分平和。「Being the God of War, all Ares wants to bring into the world is battles and violence. And for his own purpose, he choose an innocent girl, who was so hurt and confused, to be his Chosen.」

「Big bro was just doing his job.」

「I can't argue with you on that one. However, somewhere between the line, the Conqueror was supposed to be “saved” by the greatest love that,」Lachesis看著她越來越正經的臉，心裡的大石總算開始放下。「even you, my dear cousin, would have been moved.」

「Mmmm…」環顧她們現在所在的奧林匹斯山，Aphrodite覺得應該沒有其他的“神”聽到她們的對話後，她才說：「You know, Ares changed the fates, yes, but you really shouldn't have brought that girl back to here.」她的頭朝著地上的水鏡點了一下，水面上出現皇宮的影像。「Poor girl…the Conqueror babe's going to whip her to death.」

「NO！We can't let her do that！」Clotho盯著水鏡，十分擔心的說：「We've got to save her！」

「Dad has already forbidden any god to interfere the mortals' lives…」Aphrodite一副很無趣的樣子。「…thanks to my big bro.」

「But…But we can't just sit by, watch the Conqueror hurts her and do nothing！」

聽到Clotho的話，Atropos和Lachesis只是無言的看著水鏡。鏡中，滿小小的身體被三個士兵壓在高起的圓臺上，廣場四周圍滿了被招集起來的奴隸們。

「Un-huh…」Aphrodite環起手臂，想著該怎麼做才能救那女孩又不會被宙斯發現她直接影響了人類世界。「Well…maybe, there's something I can do…」

「Why do you want to help her now？」Atropos淡淡的問。

「Hey, maybe you guys haven't noticed that already, but I am the Goddess of Love, ok？Violence is just a bit too much for my taste.」Aphrodite可委屈了，她也不想看那可憐的女孩被那個應該要愛她保護她的人所傷。

「What's your suggestion？」Lachesis問。===============================

Chapter 5. Hearts in chain

「I know you are all wondering why I summoned you to here.」站在高台上，綠眼瞄了被壓在『她』腳下的滿一眼，隨即看向廣場的奴隸們。「But today, you will all witness a slave, who,」冰綠色的視線這次停在滿的臉上。「...dare to disobey my order and stand up for the right of being a mother, which is not even existed, for she is a slave.」

滿注意到『她』加強了最後一個字。她咬緊牙根，阻止自己不要反抗。當她對上那雙綠眼時，滿清楚地看到『她』眼睛裡異常的喜悅與興奮。

【She is enjoying this.】滿的心跳的好快，這是第一次她發現站在眼前的，是另外一個完全陌生，沒有感情的人，一個殘暴的統治者。

看著滿仍然沒有意思要認錯，『她』不禁冷冷一笑。「For being such a stupid slave, she will suffer the wrath of mistress until she is smart enough to beg for mercy.」

滿看著周圍的人群，每一個人都低著頭，深怕一抬起眼便會對上那雙能將你的靈魂燃燒殆盡的冰綠色雙眼。她在心裡乞求著，希望她至少能撐過這一次。她知道自己絕對不會求饒，因為她並沒有錯。如果事情再從來一遍，滿仍然會選擇捍衛自己的女兒。但是她還有一份十分重大的任務，她不能死在這裡。

她還想回去，回到遙的身邊，回到那個永遠都不會傷害她的夥伴的懷抱中。

「Well, little one, last chance.」蹲下身，她笑著抬起滿的下巴。盯著仍舊燃燒著火焰的藍眼，她的笑容慢慢褪去。「You have courage inside of you girl, but...don't worry, I happen to know one cure for this.」
站起身，『她』示意士兵們抓緊滿。Palimon拿給她一條長鞭，『她』修長的指頭輕撫著鞭子，挑起眉，『她』微微一笑。「That's called “fear”.」

滿緊緊閉起嘴巴，她必須咬著下唇讓自己不因背上的疼痛而尖叫出聲。她睜著她那雙深藍色的大眼，看著『她』的右手高舉，放下。感覺背上灼熱的刺痛隨著『她』手臂每一次的放下正在撕裂著她。
撕裂著她的身體，她的靈魂。

周圍的奴隸們開始聒噪起來，他們的聲音跟著每一次鞭子碰到皮膚的接觸而高亢。無論是男人還是女人們，在他們的眼睛裡都充滿著恐懼，那鞭子的抽打聲像是他們自己生命的喪鐘。

有幾個年紀小的奴隸們開始哭泣著。

當第十六次的鞭子落在那已經血肉綻開的背部時，男人們開始佩服起那個不幸的女孩，讚賞她的勇氣和堅強。

女人們感嘆女孩的倔強，認為她太愚蠢了，也為女孩仍舊清醒的意識感到悲哀。

同樣站在圓檯上的Palimon近距離地看著地上的滿，他黑色的眼睛充滿著驚訝。即使是大男人也無法承受這樣的酷刑，更何況是個這麼瘦弱的小女孩。

他想起上次那個被他的王鞭打的士兵。

一個受過訓練，強壯的士兵，在第七下時便哭著，求著他的王饒恕他，然後，那個士兵求『她』直接殺掉他。

Palimon一直以來就跟『她』一起訓練著，不管是打鬥練習還是軍事戰爭。他知道『她』的力道有多大。民間傳說，『她』被戰神Ares庇祐著，擁有十個男人加起來也無法比擬的力量。

而在看到『她』戰場上的攻擊後，Palimon是完全相信的。

「You can end all of this pain...」汗水讓她的金黃色頭髮在太陽底下顯得光輝耀眼，她握在右手的鞭子開始顯得有些顫抖。她的聲音低沉，短促。

Palimon是唯一發現的人。他不禁吞了一下口水，站在離這兩個人這麼近的地方，他可以感覺到『她』那股爆發中的力量，那份控制欲讓『她』一向冰冷的綠眼顯得暗沉，近乎黑色。他也可以聞到空氣中瀰漫著血腥的鏽鐵味，女孩額上的汗珠和痛苦的藍眼揪緊著他的心。

大家都在等待滿開口求饒──如果她還活著的話。

藍海般的眼睛一直沒有離開過『她』，那讓『她』覺得『她』才是那個被抓到的獵物。
那個眼神激怒了『她』。

「Beg me, slave, because I can promise you, this---」揚揚手中的長鞭，太陽光和鞭子上的血跡互相輝映著。她說：「---can not even be compared with what I am going to do to you.」

聽到這句話，就連Palimon也慘白了一張臉。

「I...to...told you...」滿的呼吸十分虛弱，事實上，她覺得她根本就呼吸不到任何空氣。她的背在痛著，士兵們抓著她的手和腳也都在痛著。她的心在痛著，她的靈魂在尖叫著。「...I...will...not...sa...satisfy your...need...fo...for control...」

「I see you are still a chatter box.」把鞭子丟在一旁，她叫身旁的士兵去拿一件東西。接過那根被烈火長時間燒著而十分艷紅的鐵鈀，她示意抓著滿的士兵們放開她。

滿盯著那個在前頭有著U字型的鐵鈀，這次她真的感到恐慌與害怕。這份無助感比任何身體上的疼痛更讓她不能承受。

「Lord Conqueror...is it really necessary？」Palimon提起勇氣問。

深綠色的眼睛看著他，彷彿想將他從身體裡面給挖空出來。

「Since when do you care about a slave, Palimon？」

「Lord Conqueror, I do not care about her, I...」Palimon弓著腰，萬分恭敬地低著頭。「...I simply mentioned a fact.」

「Simply, really.」低低的笑了一下，她說：「Not to worry, my friend, I know what I am doing.」眼神回到了滿身上。「I am just teaching a slave how to behave herself...simply.」

「But---」

「Palimon, not a word,」沒有看向他，她的視線依然停在滿身上。「...unless you wish to join her.」

「Forgive me, Lord Conqueror.」【And forgive me too, little one.】看著地上的滿，Palimon只希望神能幫助這個女孩度過這一次。

用腳抬起滿的下巴，綠色眼睛居高臨下地審視著她。然後『她』露出一抹滿意的笑容。

「Is that fear I see in your beautiful blue eyes？」

「It's disgusting you see in everyone's eyes.」滿的回答十分小聲，只有她們兩人才聽得到。

瞇起眼，『她』的怒氣連一旁的Palimon也感受得到。在『她』衣服底下的結實肌肉緊繃著，額上甚至冒出了幾條明顯可見的青筋。

「Be honored, slave...」將手中的鐵鈀湊向滿的肩膀，她得意的說：「You are going to bear my mark for the rest of your life---and from the way you are acting, I can guaranty you it won't be that long.」

「You can't have what you want...by violence.」滿沒有看著那僅離自己的肩膀沒幾公分的鐵鈀，她的眼睛注視著那雙綠眼，想從中找尋一絲絲人類的氣息。

「Oh, that's where you are wrong girl.」冷冷一笑，她說：「What do you think that made me the Conqueror, huh？」

藍眼深深地看著『她』，帶著心疼和遺憾。滿輕輕地說：「Your courage and sense of virtue are what made people wanted to follow you into the gates of Hades in the first place. But now...now you rule people with fear. You have lost you way, Conqueror.」

「What in the Tartarus are you talking about？」綠眼裡閃過許多不同的情緒，驚訝，疑惑，痛。

「Listen to your people, Conqueror, don't you hear that？」滿提高了聲音，她能感覺到，她的話已經慢慢的進到『她』的心。「They are no longer hailing your name, now they are just fearing your name.」
聽完滿的話，『她』不禁看向周圍的人群。

恐懼。『她』在每個人的眼神裡只看到恐懼，就連自己的士兵也不例外。

【This is what I want, fear, fear can make them obey my orders.】看著眼前這個倔強的女孩，看著她硬撐著自己的意識也不願意求饒，不願意認輸。『她』的心裡突然不確定起來。【Or is it？】

「Unchain your heart...」滿緩緩地說：「...please...」

「You are begging me？」蹲下身，她抬起滿的頭。這次的動作帶著連她自己都沒發覺的輕柔。看著那雙閃爍著溫暖的藍寶石眼睛，她的語氣充滿著小孩子般的好奇和迷惘。「You did not surrender when you were in pain, yet you are willing to beg...for...me？」

滿閉著眼睛。她沒有聽到『她』的話，滿只覺得她已經撐到了極限，連睜開眼的力量也沒有了。
空氣的流動像是靜止般，所有在廣場上的人連呼吸都不敢太過大聲。

Palimon的驚訝不下於他的王。他真的不懂為什麼這個女孩會這麼的關心『她』──在她被『她』這麼慘忍的折磨後？

【The girl has a soul of warrior.】Palimon在心裡讚賞著。【That will make her fight for the things she believes in...】看著他的王現在流露出的異常情緒，他這麼想著：【...and people she loves.】

就在大家都屏住呼吸等著他們的王對女孩接下來要做的事，這時一個小女孩的聲音卻哭叫起來。

「NO！NO！」小小的身體爬上圓檯上，在眾人都不知道發生什麼事時，Hope已經趴在滿的身上。「Mama, mama…」

一個士兵趕緊趨向前，抓著小女孩的衣領。

「Get your filthy hands off of her！」她先是抓住士兵的手，然後把他扭開。

Palimon發誓他甚至聽到骨頭斷掉的聲音。

「Mama, mama...」Hope哭著，小手輕輕地摸著滿蒼白的臉。水藍色的大眼看向『她』，一張小臉因為哭泣而漲紅著。「Lady, don't hurt my mama...please, please, don't hurt my mama...please...」

【Damn！How in the gods name did the kid get in here？】看著那張心碎的小臉，她開始緊張起來。

「Please...Lady...Hope will do anything...please don't hurt Mama, please...」小手緊緊地抓著『她』的褲腳。

當『她』看著那雙盈滿淚水的藍色大眼時，在『她』心裡突然昇起一股同樣的感覺。那股當『她』看著滿時獨有的感覺。

那股看不起自己的感覺。

「Palimon, get the kid out of here.」站起身，她沒有看著小女孩。

『她』不敢。

「NOOOO！」Hope強力掙扎著，想掙脫開Palimon的懷抱。「Mama！Mama！」

「Shhh, it's alright, your Mama will be alright.」Palimon安撫性地說著，而他也真的是這麼相信著的。

「...Ho...Hope...」滿的聲音虛弱地傳來。她隱約聽到她的女兒的叫喊聲，可是她不能確定。她的背像火燒著，她全身都痛的好像不是她的身體似地。她甚至已經不知道自己到底在哪裡了。「...Haru...ka...」

聽到一個不熟的名字，『她』又蹲下身，靠近滿問：「What are you saying？」

「Haruka...」滿低低的念著。像一個能讓她充滿勇氣和生命的咒語，像一個她用靈魂擁抱著的希望。

「Well, little one, I am not your Haruka...whoever he is.」抱起滿，讓她在自己強壯的懷中安全地躺著。依稀聽到滿在胸前喃喃念著那個名字，這讓她的心莫名其妙的揪緊著。但是感覺到滿背部的血開始沿著她的手臂流了下來，她不禁用著最溫柔的聲音，堅定的這麼說：「...but I promise you, I, Uranus, will not let you leave me.」

Delia今天一早，剛做完廚房的工作，像往常一樣將點心送到她的王的房間。她的心頭掛念著昨天下午那個讓她映像深刻的女孩，想說也許可能遇到她，可以和她多談談。

當她敲了門，並在外頭等個許久，依然不見Anya來開門時，Delia心裡就有著一股不祥的預感。通常這個時候，身為王的貼身伺女，Anya都會在寢室裡整理。

所以她決定站在門外等一等。

過了不久，她就遇到神情恐慌的Anya從一旁的走道匆匆忙忙地跑來，彷彿她後面正被地獄的獵犬追捕著。

【Oh, thank the gods！Delia, have you seen Hope？】

【Who？】

【Hope, a five-year-old little girl, blond hair, blue eyes, the daughter of Sara！】Anya上氣不接下氣的說，看得出來她已經這麼漫無目的地跑了許久。

【She has a daughter？】

【YES！】Anya白著一張臉說：【She's gone！The Conqueror commend me to take care of the little one, but, but she's gone！Disappeared！】

【What are you talking about, Anya girl？】Delia被她的話搞的頭暈。

【Oh！This's so frustrating！I have to go now---】

就在Delia看著Anya又急急忙忙地跑走時，沒過多久，她就看到她的王抱著那個女孩出現了。

聽到Delia的問話，『她』連看也不看她，只是冷著一張臉，無言地抱著滿進了房間。

『她』輕輕地將滿放在床上，用手指頭探了探她的呼吸和脈搏後，『她』不由得稍微鬆了口氣。

「Sweet mother of Zeus！Who did this to the girl？」Delia趕緊跟到床邊，在看到滿被鞭打的血肉糢糊的背部時，她深褐色的眼睛裡開始慢慢地紅了起來。

「Me.」淡淡地回答，她的視線停留在滿蒼白佈滿汗水的臉蛋上。「Go get Karus.」

「You？YOU？！」Delia不敢置信地看著『她』。「Just what kind of animal are you now, Uranus！」

「Go get the healer,」冰綠色的眼睛鎖定她，冷冷的聲音從咬緊牙關的嘴唇中困難的吐出。「NOW！」

Chapter 6. Let your spirit move me

「I have done all that I can, Lord Conqueror.」收拾好醫具，Karus這麼跟站在他隔壁的王說。

「How's she？」環著手臂，她站在床的旁邊，她的視線一直沒有離開過滿。

「She is not dead yet, if that's what you were asking.」Karus回答。

聽到『她』的醫官語氣中明顯的不認同與冷淡，『她』終於慢慢地轉頭看向Karus。

「Her skin is burning like on fire.」她說，聲音一如往常的低沉，沙啞，但不如平常那樣帶著令人畏懼的威嚴。像個十分疲累的人，只希望能求得一分鐘的安寧。

Karus身為醫者敏銳的觀察力也讓他注意到『她』的狀況。他嘆了口氣，淺棕色的眼睛疼惜地看著床上了無生氣的滿。Karus不禁柔和地說：「The lady is running a fever at this very moment, Lord Conqueror, if she was fortunate, her fever should be broken by morning...」

「And if she's not？」綠眼注視著他。

「Then, we shall pray the gods.」

「The gods wouldn't want to have anything to do with us mortals, unless they want to play those sick games again.」她冷冷的說。

Karus對這樣的話沒有多做回應，他看著『她』身上那件淺綠色的衣服，佈滿了血跡和灰塵。他不敢去想像那個女孩當時的處境與感受。「You might want to change your cloths, Lord Conqueror.」

『她』只是點點頭，綠眼又回到了滿身上。

「Hmmm...Lord Conqueror, do you wish me to fetch one of my assistants to watch over her？」Karus有些不確定地問。一般來說，主人們都不會在乎奴隸的死活，或是他們的身體狀況。但是照自己這樣一而再再而三的被召喚來醫治這個女孩，他已經不知道該用什麼樣的標準來審量他的王的心意了。

「No, I will find someone else. You can leave now.」等到Karus走到臥室的門邊，他聽到『她』又說：「Tell Anya come in here when you see her.」

「As you wish.」Karus被『她』聲音裡的冰冷嚇了一跳，不由得轉頭憂心地看著『她』的背影，他只希望他這個醫生能夠過過幾天悠閒的日子，不要再有人受傷了。

Anya進到寢室前，Karus就神色凝重地跟她交代了她的王當時的語氣。她知道沒有完成王的命令，她的命大概是不保了。她只希望能在死前再見到她的丈夫和孩子們一面，告訴他們她有多愛他們。

“Please let my death won't be suffering too much pain.”Anya在心裡祈禱著。小心翼翼地進到臥室裡，她站在離床還有幾十公尺遠的大桌子旁。

「Lo…Lord Conqueror, you…you wish to see me？」無法忍住內心的恐懼，Anya結結巴巴的開口。

「Yes.」悶悶的低沉嗓音從床邊傳來，她坐在床角，沒有轉過身。

Anya顫抖地站著，等著她的王宣佈她的死刑。

「What did I tell you to do with the kid, Anya, before I made my trip to the royal garden？」淡淡的聲音這次清晰了許多。

「That...that you want me to take care of Hope...」Anya看著她的王寬闊的背，金黃色的長髮綁成辮子垂在『她』右邊的肩膀上，透過窗外太陽的照射，閃著些許的紅光。“Must be blood...oh, gods！That's Sara's blood！”

Anya的臉色一下子刷白了。

「And apparently,」她緩緩地站起來，轉過身面對Anya。她的表情十分平靜，聲音依舊沉穩。「You didn't do a good job, since I SAW THE KID IN FRONT OF MY FACE！」

『她』的吼聲如同眾神憤怒般的雷電，重重地擊在整個皇宮的上空。

外頭的鳥兒們開始躁亂地叫著，原本晴朗的藍天突然籠罩了一片烏雲。

Anya的身體抖個不停，她的心臟現在還能跳動真是一件奇妙的事。

「For...forgive me, Lord Conqueror！」她跪在地上，額頭緊緊地貼著地板。「I...I know I disappointed your majesty's wish, I shall be punished to the painest death！」

「Yes, you shall be. AND YOU WILL BE.」又是一陣怒吼聲。

「But---please, please let me explain what happened！」

「What happened？What happened？」她搖搖頭低低的笑了一聲。

Anya發誓，她真的不知道發生什麼事。上一秒『她』還站她遠遠的，但下一秒『她』就站在她的眼前，『她』的大手抓著她的衣領，把她從地上輕而易舉的抬高在半空中。

「I will tell you what happened. YOU, YOU worthless piece of rat let the kid wander around the yard, and you know what she saw？Her mother being whipping and bleeding to death！」火焰的綠眼射進Anya充滿淚水的眼眶中，不理會眼前的女人已經因為吸不到空氣而臉色轉青，她繼續將Anya抬在半空中。「AND BY MY HANDS！YOU STUPID IDIOT, THAT'S WHAT HAPPENED！」

「Arr...Lo...Lord...plea...let...go...」

「You know how much I hate when someone screws up my plan, and you know how high the price they ARE GOING TO PAY！」

「Lord...can...can explain...」

「NO！There's nothing left to be said, YOU ARE DEAD！」

就在『她』打算就這麼看著Anya因為窒息死在自己的手中時，突然『她』的綠眼睜大了起來。

『她』在最後一刻放開Anya.

痛苦地咳了幾聲，Anya終於才能開始吸進空氣。她害怕地將身體縮在桌腳，她不知道為什麼她的王會在最後饒過她。

Anya疑惑地看著『她』快速地走回到大床旁邊。

「Did you just say something？」坐在床角，『她』輕柔地問著滿。

那個語氣是那麼溫柔，那麼低沉，彷彿就像是在愛人耳邊的低語。

Anya緩緩地站起來，她知道她正目睹著歷史性的一刻。她正在看著那個殘暴的死神，幻化成人類。
成為一個有感情，充滿溫柔的人。

「...please...」虛弱的聲音乾啞的低嗚了一聲。

「Yes？」她的右手被那隻小手緊緊地抓著，忍不住心中突然湧現的滿足感，她伸出空著的左手撫摸著滿的臉頰。「What is it, little one？」

「...please...」紫藍色的眼睛微微張開，滿的喉嚨像被人掐住一樣，連說一句話都顯得困難。「...don't...」

湊向前，讓她的耳朵貼近滿的嘴唇。感受到床上的女孩熾熱的呼吸，她的心跳不禁加快了起來。她語氣急促的輕聲問：「Don't...what？What do you not want me to do？」

「...don't hurt...her...」藍鑽般的大眼乞求地看著『她』。「...please...」

緊緊地閉起眼，她深吸了口氣。再張開眼睛時，就連滿此時半暈半醒的意識狀態下，也能明顯地看到那翠綠色的雙眼裡，載滿著溫柔與不解。「Why, why is that you are so willing to beg for other people...even for me, yet you are so stubborn and hard mind when it comes to your own good？」

『她』的口吻是這麼充滿愛憐，這麼心疼。滿甚至覺得，她好像在無意識中傷了『她』。

「...don't ...don't be...sad...」輕輕地將臉頰往大手貼去，熟悉的碰觸與熱度讓她覺得好安心，讓她忘了這雙大手的主人，正是那個在廣場上當著所有人的面鞭打她的人。「...hurts...」

「I know, my little one, I know it hurts.」顫抖地說著，她沒有忘記自己在廣場上對這女孩所做的事。她現在衣服上的血，就是最好的證明。但這項證明只要她換過衣服就好了，而烙印在女孩背部上的，將會永遠伴隨著她。

永遠伴隨著她們兩人。

「...heart hurts...when...」滿慢慢地又進入昏迷。「...you are...hurt...」

『她』曾經承受過那種從身體內被撕碎開來的感覺。當『她』從那場雅典之戰中成功打敗敵人，保衛自己的家園後，『她』的母親因為自己兒子的死而怨恨『她』；那些倖存下來的人民，『她』從小一起長大的好朋友們，都憎惡『她』，因為『她』帶領他們所愛的人進入戰場，卻沒有能力把他們帶回來。

當『她』離開雅典時，『她』就發誓，下次再回到這個城市時，『她』會是接受所有人的歡呼，絕不會像現在這樣被眾人怨恨著。而事實上也是如此，那些曾經恨『她』或是仍舊恨『她』的人們，現在都只是『她』統治版圖下的小小螞蟻，他們對『她』已經沒有任何傷害性了。

可是那份撕裂感，這十幾年來都沒有消失過。

因為連『她』自己都不想承認的是，在『她』心裡深處，『她』依然在意他們，依然……關心他們。

“Gods, it just so hurts to care, and last time I did that, it tore my soul.”輕柔地摸著滿的頭髮，她喃喃地說：「I don't know how you did that...but you made me feel again. And the gods only know I don't want to...」

閉起眼，『她』躺在象牙床柱旁。「Anya？」

「Ye...yes, Lord Conqueror？」吞了口口水，Anya站在原地輕聲地回答。

她完全聽到她的王和Sara的對話。她聽到Sara求『她』不要傷她，Anya發誓，如果有機會，她一定會好好報答她的。

而現在，她覺得自己像個侵入者，闖進了一個不應被任何人打擾的空間。

「I really don't feel like punishing anyone now, you may leave.」疲憊的聲音這麼說著。

「Thank you！Thank you！」Anya又跪了下來，這次帶著感激的淚水。

「However, next time, do not make the same stupid mistake again.」

「I will not, I promise！」

「Good, now go.」

「Mmmm...Lord Conqueror, I...I still want to explain what happened to you.」Anya小聲地說。

「What？I don't care about what---」懶懶的嗓音不耐煩地回應。

「She just disappeared！」Anya一口氣說了出來。

「What's that supposed to mean？」睜開眼，她緊盯著眼前顯然十分緊張的女人。

「She...Hope...we...Oh, by the gods！This was really weird！」Anya說：「One moment we were eating cakes and telling stories, and, and next momente, she, she just disappeared, gone！」

綠眼審視著Anya幾秒，她冷淡的說：「You do know that this is the most ridiculous excuse I have ever heard, Anya.」

「Believe me, Lord Conqueror, even though I saw it myself, I still can not believe it.」

聽完Anya的話，『她』環起手臂，想了一會兒。

「The only thing that can reasonably explain this...phenomenon, Anya, is that the gods are involved.」

「The gods？How？Why？」Anya十分好奇地問。

挑起眉，『她』略為揚起嘴角說：「Curiosity can kill cats, Anya.」

「…but satisfaction can bring them back.」Anya低低的說。

「I heard that.」冷冷的回應。

「Oh！Gods！I am so very sorry, I didn't mean---」Anya不曉得她是怎麼了，她從來不敢在她的王面前這麼隨意！

「You did mean that all right.」揮揮手，她神態輕鬆的說：「I will tell you what, Anya, if I ever find out that somehow the gods are behind this mess, I will personally apologize to you.」

「Oh no, Lord Conqueror, you do not have to, this was my own fault that Hope saw...what happened. I should have been more cautious.」

“No, This was mine.”她清了清喉嚨，淡淡的說：「Fine, you may leave now.」

「Yes, Lord Conqueror.」

Anya走到門邊時，聽到『她』這麼問：「Who's been taking care of the kid？」

「It's Delia, your majesty.」

「Tell her not to let the kid come anywhere near my chamber until tomorrow morning.」

「Hope would like to see her mother.」Anya語氣沉重地提醒她的王。

「I know. But her mother needs the rest. So if the kid asks, just tell her her mother is fine.」

「I understand, your majesty.」說完，Anya便離開了房間。

『她』嘆了一口氣，視線回到床上的女孩身上。

輕柔地用指關節撫著滿的臉頰，『她』小小聲的說：「Who are you, little one？Why did those good-for-nothing, pain-in-the-ass gods would do anything like that for you？」

即使在睡夢中，滿的身體仍然對『她』的碰觸有所反應。小臉輕輕地摩擦『她』的指頭，像隻小貓咪
一樣正享受著主人的愛撫。

床上的女孩不禁低低的發出一聲滿足的嘆息。

「Are you a little angel？」滿的反應讓她感到無比的喜悅，她笑著說：「Or a little kitten maybe？」

「Ummm...」緊緊抓著她的衣袖，滿喃喃地說：「...'m no kitten...」

「Then...」翠綠色瞳孔突然嚴厲的看著她。「Who are you？」

「...Haruka...」

瞇起眼，她冷冷的說：「And, who is this Haruka？」

「...Haruka...」滿緩緩睜開眼睛，她蒼白的臉上漾著一抹懾人心魂的溫柔笑容。「...my love...my soul...」

深深看近那雙淺藍色的大眼裡，她知道滿現在正因為發燒所以神智不清，無法控制自己的行為，完全不知道自己正在說些什麼。

「Every part in you belongs to me, including your pleasure and pain.」她一字一句清楚地說：「Be aware, my little one, I will never let you leave me.」

「...don't let go...」小手緊抓住她，紫藍色眼睛又閉起來。

在滿額上留下一吻，她喃喃的說：「Never.」

「Yes, thank you.」Hope小小聲的說。紅通通的大眼謹慎小心地看著眼前的老婆婆。「I have only eaten them once, Mama baked them for my birthday..and they...they were really yummy.」

「My, my, you are a very polite little girl.」Delia憐愛地摸摸小女孩金黃色的頭髮。在看到女孩露出一抹害羞的笑容後，她的心不禁充滿著暖暖的愛意。

「Mama said that we all should be nice to people.」Hope睜著藍眼，無邪地說。

“No wonder Uranus wants us to take care of the girl, she is so adorable.”微微一笑，Delia將點心推到小女孩眼前。Hope先是不確定的看了她一眼，然後才緩緩地拿了片餅乾。「I am sure your mama will be very proud of you.」

「Really？」Hope的小臉在聽到Delia的話後，佈滿快樂的笑容。但是她隨即皺起了眉毛，一副做錯事的樣子。「...but...but I don't want to be nice to Mister Mean, he is not nice to mama, he is a bad person.」

「Well, you must know, little Hope, some people just don't know how to treat a lady appropriately.」

藍色大眼看著Delia幾秒，Hope低下頭，悲傷地說：「People are so mean to mama and Hope...they...they say those nasty things to us all the time.」

「Oh, my poor dear.」Delia抱著小女孩，拍拍她的背。「They are bad, don't pay attention to them.」

小小顆的頭緊緊埋在Delia柔暖的懷抱中，Hope悶悶地說：「Is the Lady a bad person too？」

「Why asked？」Delia疑惑地看著她。

「'Cause...she...she hurt mama too...」Hope稚嫩的童音滿是害怕的情緒，她在Delia的懷中發抖著。「I...I saw...saw the Lady...doing...bad things...to...to mama...」

聽到這句話，Delia整顆心都揪緊著。她沒想到這個小女孩竟然也在廣場上，親眼看到自己的母親被人傷害的情景。

“Oh, for the love of Athena, what have you done, Uranus？”悲傷地看著小女孩害怕的臉，Delia輕聲說：「No, dear, no, she...the lady is not a bad person. She just made a mistake, she...she was wrong for hurt---I mean, for doing those things to your mama, and now she feels sorry for your mama.」“I hope.”她嘆了口氣。

「Mama said that we all make mistake, that's why we have to learn how not to make the same mistake again.」Hope歪著頭，期望地看著她：「Will the Lady learn how not to make the same mistake, and not hurt mama again？」

深褐色的眼睛注視著那雙美麗的藍色大眼，Delia知道這個小女孩現在最需要的就是一個能讓她安心的保證──即使就連她自己也無法確定。「Yes, Hope, the lady will learn, and no, she will not hurt your mama again.」

Hope展開大大的笑容，她滿意地坐回椅子上，繼續吃餅乾。

憐愛地看著她，Delia想到在很久以前，有一個小女孩也是一樣這麼讓人心疼，這麼討人喜歡。那個小女孩有著連大人也沒有的勇氣，充滿著智慧和善良；那個老是會在路上把小貓小狗或是受傷的小鳥帶回家的小女孩；那個會為了自己的弟弟被欺負而向城市裡年紀最大的孩子挑戰的小女孩；那個帶領人民英勇對抗敵人的小女孩。

那個在今天成為人人害怕恐懼的統治者的小女孩。

“When did this happen, Uranus？When did you offer you soul to the darkness？”Delia在心裡為那個迷失路途的小女孩祈禱著，祈禱有一天她能找到返家的路。

「Delia？」

「Anya！」看著站在門邊的女人，Delia關心地問：「How's the girl？」

「Ummm...would you mind coming outside for a little while？」Anya說，順道向Hope揮揮手。

拿著餅乾的小手愉快地朝她揮著。

「Certainly.」Delia知道Anya有事想跟她單獨談。對Hope笑了笑，她說：「Can you wait here for me, little one？」

「Yes.」Hope點點頭。「I will be good.」

和Anya走到門外，Delia馬上又問了一遍。「How's Sara？」

「Not good. Besides all the wounds and blood-losing, she has a fever, Karus said if it wouldn't be broken by morning, then...」

「I see, is there anyone to take care of her？」

「Yes...I mean, no...I mean...oh, well, I am not really sure.」

Delia疑惑地看著Anya，希望她能解釋一下。

「The Conqueror is with her now.」Anya的語氣突然變得十分夢幻。「The Conqueror's so tender and gentle with Sara, the scene of those two together was kind of moving, I tell you.」

「The “whipping you to death in front of your daughter” scene you mean？」Delia諷刺的說：「I wouldn't fit that into my “Top 10 of the most great sights to see” list.」

「Well...yeah...that's...that's really...」Anya想到Hope看到的情景，以及自己為此受到的懲罰。她摸摸自己的脖子說：「...terrible.」

Delia此時也注意到Anya脖子上的手印勒痕。她悲傷的搖搖頭。「“Her highness” did this to you？She's really out of her supposed-to-be human mind.」

「My fault. Shouldn't have let Hope out of my sight.」Anya清了清喉嚨說：「The Conqueror was going to kill me, right there and right then.」

「Well, not that I am not glad you are alright...but, why didn't she？What happened？」

「Sara happened.」露出感激和驚奇的笑容，Anya興奮地說：「She told the Conqueror not to, and you know what？The Conqueror truly obeyed！」

「Unn...amazing.」

「It's incredible！And I am the one who saw it！」

「So, can Hope go see her mother now？」Delia關心地問。

「The Conqueror wants us to keep Hope occupied until tomorrow morning.」

「What for？」

「Said that Sara needs her rest.」

不禁露出一抹笑容，Delia說：「The Conqueror cares about her.」

「No doubt.」Anya附和地點點頭。

The Chapter 7. Shadows of the soul.

大手輕輕蓋在滿的額上，感覺女孩皮膚的熱度比早上稍微退了一點，綠眼不禁放心地閉了起來。

過了幾秒，『她』張開眼，起身往臥室的桌子走去。拿了浸在水盆裡的冰涼濕布，『她』走回床邊。

「Here, lie still.」她說，把濕布放在滿的額上。

「Mmmm...cold...」模糊不清的聲音。

「Yeah, nice, isn't it？」她微微一笑。

「Yes, nice...」半開的紫藍色眼睛盯著『她』，滿微弱地說：「...your smile...」

笑容僵硬在臉上，她有些尷尬的清了清喉嚨。「Un, thanks, I think.」

「...always love your smile...」閉起眼，滿喃喃地說：「...princess charming...」

聽到這句話，笑容不禁又回到她的臉上，這次帶著十足的趣味。「You think I am charming？」

「...like Sashimi...」

疑惑地皺起眉，她問：「What's that？」

「...fish...」

「You like fish？」她提高了聲音。「And are you comparing my charming personalities to the fish？」

「...like fish...」滿的頭晃了晃，聲音模糊地說：「...like to eat them...」

伸手制止了那顆晃動的小腦袋，她揚起一抹有趣的笑容，低低的說：「I see...so do you want to eat me as well？」

「...Umm...don't know...」小小聲地問：「...can I？」

這次她終於忍不住哈哈大笑起來。「Just tell me what kind of flavor you like, I would cover it all over my body.」

「Honey.」

笑聲突然終止，在聽到這一把低沉的男聲後，『她』全身都閃過一陣寒顫。瞇起帶著怒氣的綠眼，『她』轉過頭看向沒有人的寢室。

「Get some rest, little one.」溫柔地叮嚀滿，她起身走往房門前。站在那裡，她低吼了一聲。「Ares！Show yourself already, you are making me want to puke！」

藍色的雷光在昏暗的房間裡閃了一下後，出現了一個高壯，留著黑色長髮，穿著黑色鎧甲的男人。

「My, my, you're arrogant.」揚起俊帥的笑容，男人挑起他濃厚的眉毛。「And Zeus knows I sooo love that.」

「Just what do I own the honor of having the presence of the God of War？」她假裝謙卑，卻語帶輕藐的說。

「Hey, I just want to check up on my favorite mortal.」Ares摸摸帶著鬍渣的下巴。「You are one of my finest creations you know.」

「Cut the crap Ares. I “am” your finest creation. I conquer the world in your name.」環起手臂，她冷冷地說。

「And you do a damn fine job of it, too」

「Thanks, not that you have anything to do with it anyway.」不感興趣地回應，綠眼盯著閃著奇異光芒的黑色眼睛，她低沉地問：「Now, what do you what？」

「I want you to tell me about this little slave that has caught your eye.」粗壯的手臂環在胸前，Ares在心裡想著：“And maybe not just eye, damn those three frigging Fates！”

「You are a God, figure it out for yourself.」她懶懶地回應。

「Do you intend to keep her around, or is she just a playing thing？」Ares繼續問。

「Why dose it matter？」煩躁地吼了一聲，她推開擋在房門前的他，一臉無聊地往前廳走去。“Don't the gods have better things to do than bother me？”

「It matters, because---」Ares彈了下手指，下一秒便出現在前廳，他看著『她』，自大地說：「You belong to me, Uranus, you are mine. Who do you think gave you the power to accomplish all that you have now, huh?」

聽完他的話，深綠色的眼睛裡閃著紅光。她站到Ares的面前，兩人的身體毫無空隙。她的聲音既緊繃又低沉，像是下一秒便要撲上前的野獸。「Ares, you trained me. And with that training I gathered armies. And I AM THE ONE who made something out of them！Never once did you turn a battle in my favor！Never once did you use your powers to assist me！Everything I did, I did on my own. I have never belonged to you. And I swear to your father's name I NEVER WILL！」

「Fine, fine, think whatever you want.」聳聳肩，他對『她』的怒氣早就司空見慣了。「Play with your new toy as long as you like, as long as it's not too long. But Uranus, don't get any funny ideas about keeping her around.」

「Don't interfere with us, Ares.」她不耐煩地轉過身。

「Us？As in you and that little slave？」Ares抓住『她』的手臂，把『她』拉回到自己的胸前。「I told you, Uranus, there's no “your” us. Only “my” us, you and I, the God of War.」

她沒有把自己的手甩開，反而將身體貼近他的胸膛。「And I told you too, Ares...」突然用力把他推倒在大桌子上，冰綠色的眼睛凶狠地看著這個眼前最讓她感到噁心不齒的“神”。「I will never go back to be your little pet again. I was too stupid to trust you then, but now I know better, I “am” better, and you'd better don't be standing in my way, or YOU WILL regret it！」

「And just how exactly will I regret it？」看著壓在他上方的『她』，Ares只是不慌不忙地問。

「I will rip your heart out of your chest and fed it to you and then cut you into pieces that your great father Zeus couldn't even recognize you.」微微一笑，她冷冷地說。

「Damn, I knew there's something about you that I like, Uranus.」哈哈大笑，身為神讓Ares完全不在乎這個威脅。「Well, whatever, I am tired of the business, let's have some fun！」

Ares的兩雙大手開始在『她』的背部游移著，衣服底下的結實肌肉在他掌中的感覺是那麼完美，他不禁讚嘆地從喉嚨發出呻吟。

「What are you doing？」低沉的聲音緩緩地問。

「I know since you came back from the war, you haven't got a chance to release your battle lust.」把『她』的頭拉近自己，Ares用著他一貫迷人的聲音說：「Come on now, Uranus, you know how good we are in bed.」

「Were.」嫵媚一笑，修長的手指沿著他鬢角的鬍渣輕輕的劃下，她的嗓音帶著只有愛人才聽的到的性感。「And trust me, Ares, you are not as good as you think you are.」

Ares的笑容馬上斂去。

不知從哪裡來的鋒利小刀停在他的跨下，『她』悠閒地問著：「How's the feeling down there？Still so excited about getting "out"？」

即使是神，他還是個男人。而沒有男人喜歡這種被威脅的方式。

嘆了一口氣，Ares隨著藍光消失在客廳裡。

「Your loss.」他的聲音在房間裡回盪著。

「You make one smart ass remark about bedding me, and I swear I'll take “both” of your heads off.」整理一下被Ares弄亂的衣服，她警告性地說。

「I will give you a warning, Uranus. That girl is not what you think she is. She is a liar.」

「Shut up, Ares.」她走回臥室裡，打算檢查看看滿的狀況。

「Don't trust her, she is not telling the truth.」隨著這最後一句話，Ares就完全消失了。

一走近大床邊，『她』就看到兩雙海藍色的大眼在黑暗中焟焟發光。

「Why aren't you sleeping？」

「You were talking too loud.」大眼目不轉睛地盯著『她』。

「Oh, sor---」即時制止自己脫口而出的道歉，她坐在床上，看著那雙盯著她瞧的藍眼。「You heard？」

「Yes.」認真地點了點頭，然後疼痛讓滿不由得皺起臉。

大手摸著她的額頭，『她』滿意地說：「Your skin is just a little warm now. The fever should be broken in the morning.」

「Thank you.」滿輕聲說。

「What？For my whipping train？」不可置信地搖搖頭，她真的不懂這個女孩。

「No, for taking care of me.」

緊盯著滿，她的聲音中帶著驚訝。「You serious？I hurt you, girl, that's why you have to lay here and---」

「Sara.」

「--and suffering from fever---」停下話，她看著滿。「What？」

「Sara.」微微一笑，滿柔柔地說：「My name.」

「Well, gee, nice to meet you, Sara.」

「What's yours？」

「...don't tell me you don't know my name.」她自信地說：「All people know my name.」

「Ok, I won't.」滿笑了笑。

皺起眉，像個鬧彆扭的小孩，她有些不甘願的說：「Uranus.」

「Uranus.」滿讓這個名字融化在自己的嘴中，她藍色的大眼裡閃著懷念。「You know what this name stand for？」

「What？」下意識地吞了口口水，她不敢相信她的心臟竟然會只因為自己的名字被眼前的女孩唸了出來而跳動著這麼厲害。“Even when I was in my first battle, my heart never beat this fast！”

「The God of Sky.」藍眼帶著景仰和崇拜，滿說。

「There is no God of Sky.」她搖搖頭。「Besides, I don't even like the gods.」

「There is.」頓了頓，滿堅定的說：「In Rome.」

「How do you know？Can you read Latin？」諷刺地笑了笑，她挖苦地說：「Maybe I should ask, can you even read？」

「Yes, I can read and write, in both Greece and Latin.」滿也學『她』諷刺的說：「Thanks for asking.」

「My, you are really full of surprises.」她說，心裡則想著：“Maybe Ares' right.”

「I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that maybe Ares was right about me.」

「What, you are an Oracle now？」

「You can fight him, you are stronger then him.」不理會她的嘲諷，滿只是這麼說。

「He is a God.」冷淡地回應。

「I am not talking about Ares, I am talking about the beast.」

綠眼盯著她，等著解釋。

「The beast inside of you.」滿輕聲說：「You can control it, fight it.」

「It...it's too strong...too powerful...I...」不知道為什麼滿會知道，不知道為什麼她會向她說一切的事情，不知道為什麼她會覺得跟滿傾訴會是這麼自然的事。她結結巴巴的說：「I can't...fight it...it...it is in my soul...the beast is my soul...」

「Yes, you can fight it, you can win.」慢慢伸出手，滿握著那雙顫抖的大手，她提高聲音說：「It's a coward that has to hide inside of you, but you are a warrior who has been fighting for the world, you are stronger than it！」

「No---you don't underst---」

「Don't tell me I don't understand！」滿此時的聲音已經近似尖叫，她背部的疼痛讓她忘了要保持冷靜。「I have seen it myself, I AM THE ONE who was there when you let the beast out remember？But I am not afraid of it, I am not going to give up on you without a fight, and neither should you！I will not allow you to give up！」

緊緊閉起眼，『她』想把手抽離開，但滿的力氣此時卻大的嚇人。

「You can win.」堅定的大眼看著『她』，滿輕聲地保證。

「How can I win the battle that against myself？」翠綠色的眼睛看著滿，她小小聲地問。像個不知所措的小孩子。

用手肘撐起身，滿咬緊牙不讓背部的傷再次帶她進入昏迷。她知道不管多痛她都必須清醒著，命運能不能有所轉變，就賭在這一擊了。

「Because...I see the light in you today.」挺直背，滿坐在床上，讓她的眼睛可以和那雙美麗的綠眼相對。「You could have killed me, but you didn't.」

「I wanted to.」她面無表情地回答。

「I know.」滿露出一抹苦笑，她知道今天在廣場上她的生命是多麼九死一生。「But you didn't. You were so angry, the beast inside of you was hungry for blood, but you stopped it.」

食指輕輕蓋上『她』要反駁的嘴巴，她佈滿汗水的臉帶著溫柔。像要宣佈一件最高榮譽的大獎，滿緩緩地說：「You have already won the first round.」

大手將她唇上的手指拿開，她並沒有放開滿的手。一雙犀利的深綠色眼睛如同森林裡碧沉的湖泊，看進滿帶著無限包容的深海雙瞳。

「I want to win the second round as well.」

「You will.」滿的笑容是那麼溫柔，清晰地漾在她蒼白的臉上。

「But...sometimes...it's just hard to be along...」她的聲音開始帶著顫抖，湖水般的眼睛十分迷惘，哀傷。

滿伸出手，想摸『她』的臉頰，安慰『她』。她的手停在一半，藍眼帶著確認和要求地看著綠眼。

過了幾秒，滿微微一笑，將手貼在那熟悉的臉頰上。

「You are not along.」

閉起眼，蓋住了綠眼裡波濤洶湧的複雜情緒。在一向無人，昏暗的房間裡，『她』終於發現了一顆最亮的星星。

一顆能引導『她』邁向回家的路的希望之星。

【為什麼突然問這麼嚴肅的問題？】綠眼狐疑地看著坐在沙發上的人。

【有天下午，我從美術館出來，本來想打算直接回家──】喝了口茶，藍眼悠閒地閉著。【後來在路上遇到以前認識的人，我們便一起去咖啡廳──】

【男的女的？】環起手臂，修長的身體滑進沙發。

【女的。】捏了一下那個硬擠在她旁邊的結實身體，她有點不開心被截斷了話。【等到我的朋友走後，我因為接個電話而多待在店裡幾分鐘。當我可以離開時，外頭卻突然下起雨來了……所以我只好繼續待在店裡面。】

揚起一邊的眉毛，她瞇起那雙仍帶著疑惑的綠眼。【所以──這個故事將要帶給我們的啟示是──？】

又捏了她旁邊的人一下，藍色大眼裡帶著笑意。【啟示是我有一個過度保護、無所不在的仰慕者！】

【嘿！妳的媽沒教過妳不要虐待妳的枕邊抱枕加私人毛毯嗎？】大手摸著紅了一小片的手臂，她無辜地眨了眨眼。【什麼仰慕者？】

【一個有著柔軟金髮和綠色眼睛的愛吃醋仰慕者。】淘氣的笑容漾在臉上，她語帶驚奇地說：【現在仔細一看，我的仰慕者跟妳長的倒是蠻像的。尤其是愛吃醋這點…也許你們認識？】

【抱歉，我不是愛吃醋，我是容易吃醋。】

【那有什麼不一樣！】笑著往身旁的人躺去，一雙強壯的手臂馬上環著她。【嗯……也許你們是同一個俱樂部的會員？】

【對──而且所有女人都想當本俱樂部會員的女朋友──】邪氣一笑，她懶懶的說：【尤其是那個金頭髮綠眼睛的會員，更是本俱樂部的搶手貨。妳知道有一次她甚至得要躲在男廁三個鐘頭來逃避一群張牙舞爪、賀爾蒙過剩的女性嗎？】

【我聽說那群女性是“視覺障礙輔助委員會”要幫助的對象。】不感興趣地回答。

一陣沉默。

皺起眉，綠眼帶著“我要把妳丟進游泳池”的殺氣。【妳可以再慘忍一點，沒關係，我都習慣了。】

【喔──】輕輕拍著那張受了創傷的臉，她同情地說：【我不會再提起這件恥辱的往事了，別嘟嘴，乖。】

【我沒有嘟嘴。】

藍眼盯著她看了幾秒，伸手把頭髮上的髮帶拿下，朝她嘴巴掛上去。

【住手啦！】尷尬地把“成功”掛著的髮帶拿下，她悶悶地說：【妳這個小鬼……】

咯咯地笑著，她又躺回那個專屬於她的舒適懷抱中。【謝謝妳那天來接我。】

【我只是湊巧而已。】不甘願的回答，還有點在為受創的自尊和臉蛋生悶氣。

【帶著雨傘和外套，在臨鎮街角一家小咖啡廳的恰巧──】閉起眼，她嘴角有著夢幻的笑。【好──浪漫喔！】

【啊──夠了沒！】沮喪著自己臉上快速升起的潮紅，她粗聲粗氣的說：【所以妳一開始的重點到底是什麼？】

【我見到了妳。】

藍眼充滿溫柔，看著那雙有些愕然的綠眼，她輕輕地說：【那天，我想快點回家，是因為我想見妳。】小手輕撫著金黃色的瀏海，她平穩的聲音裡帶著滿滿的感情。【雖然路上遇到了點小阻礙，雖然時間往後拖了一點，可是那天，我還是見到了妳。】

無言地微微一笑，強壯的手臂擁她入懷。

滿足地嘆了口氣，藍眼閉了起來。她緩緩地說：【我們的命運是不是都被人決定好了？】

【我也不知道……】低下頭，鼻尖碰觸有著水果香味的捲髮。她低低的、嚴肅地說：【但如果真是這樣……我希望他們能告訴我。】

The Chapter 8. One Small Step

她正在站在黑暗的叢林裡。貓頭鷹的咕噥聲夾雜在低嘯的寒風中，夜空的月亮灑著無力的光芒。

她開始害怕地跑著，她能感覺到有一雙眼睛，一雙犀利的眼睛，隱藏在樹林裡。

然後是腳步聲。

她跑著，可是卻擺脫不了那雙眼睛。每次當她覺得她已經甩開他時，她就能感覺到他在她耳邊呼吸的氣息。

一個不小心，她被林中的石頭絆倒。然後那雙手，在她背後，撕裂著她。

她開始尖叫。

藍色大眼裡帶著驚恐，她用全身的力氣想撐起自己的身體。

「Hey, easy there...」低沉的聲音緩緩地說著：「It's just a bad dream. You are safe...for now.」

滿喘著氣，她蒼白的臉佈滿汗水和淚水。淺藍色的眼睛盯著坐在她床頭的人，她想伸手擦掉模糊她視線的淚水，但是背部的疼痛卻讓她連呼吸都在痛著。

「Haru...Haruka...？」即使是撕裂喉嚨，她也要喊著這個名字。

「Here you go again.」拿起濕布，她擦掉滿額上的汗水。「Just who is this Haruka anyway？」

冷淡的綠眼讓滿想起了她在哪裡，以及，發生了什麼事。

「I am sorry...」失望地閉起眼，滿沙啞地說：「I didn't mean to upset you, My Lord.」

「You did not.」淡淡地回應，她注視著滿悲淒的表情。思索著她是因為背部的傷而痛苦著，還是因為她口中所叫的那個人不在這裡而傷心著。「You have not once mentioned this name during your anguish and rest. Is he your husband？」

「Huh？」滿疑惑地睜開眼看著『她』。「My what？」

「This Haruka person,」她耐心地問了一遍。「Is he your husband？」

「Haruka, my husband？」滿覆誦了『她』的問話。然後她露出一抹好笑又甜蜜的笑容。「I guess you could say that, in more than one way.」

「Oh.」面無表情地低應了一聲，她環起手臂，沒有分享滿的喜悅。「You remember what happened yesterday？」

「Yes.」深吸一口氣，滿撐起自己的身體。「And I remember what happened last night as well.」

手臂的肌肉僵硬著，她克制下想扶滿的衝動，把手臂依然緊環在胸前。「I think it's about time to let you know my judgment.」

藍色大眼注視著『她』，等著下文。

「After yesterday,」她頓了一下。「I believe you have gained the knowledge of not angering me again.」

「Yes. And after last night, I have gained the knowledge of the truth too.」滿說。

挑起眉，她揚起淡淡的笑容。「And, what's the truth？」

「The truth is dangerous.」

“Then, I am the truth.”她想。「To whom？The one who speaks it？Because they might have their tongue cut out？」

滿決定忽略『她』的威脅，現在不是讓她失去冷靜的時候。「No, to the one who denies it.」

她知道這個談話將要導向哪裡。事實上，她已經開始對眼前的女孩有了敬意。不是每一天都有人敢對她說這種話的──至少在他們還沒被她殺掉以前，沒有。所以她決定用最直接的方式來處理。「Is there a truth I am denying？」

滿緊張地吞了口口水。她實在不想在這個時候惹『她』動怒，她不確定自己的身體是不是還能承受的住。尤其，這還不是她的身體。「That you are afraid.」

「Afraid of what？」她站起身，強烈的存在感籠罩整個房間。綠眼裡閃著奇異的情緒，她的聲音低沉又危險。「Of you？」

聽到這個問題，滿不得不笑出聲。看看她現在的自己！有誰會怕她呢？更何況是一個統治國家的王？滿笑著，直到背部的痛才讓她停了下來。「Not of me. But of the truth that even you can still be afraid.」

她有些被滿的笑聲給分了心。“There was something familiar about that sound. I know I have heard that once...somewhere...sometime...”綠眼裡的怒氣一下消失無蹤，她只是低低的說：「We shall see. How do I know if you are speaking the truth？」

「You can't. The truth is not that which really is, but what every man persuades another to believe. A lie told often enough becomes the truth.」滿平穩地說：「We know truth not by reason but by the heart.」

冰綠和燦藍互相對應，兩雙眼睛像競賽似地誰也不先移開視線。

過了一會兒，滿輕輕地嘆了口氣說：「You have to decide what the truth is.」

冷冷地轉過身，她把桌上一碗湯遞給滿。「Drink this.」

很明顯的，這場辯論是下了休止符。

看著那碗黑色濃稠的液體，滿皺起了眉。有點懷疑『她』該不會想毒死她吧？

「I will not try to poison you after I have stayed all night.」她冷冷一笑。「Too inefficient.」

滿盯著『她』，想確定『她』是認真的還是開玩笑。「What is it for？」

「To make you feel better.」

「It's drug, isn't？」滿搖搖頭。「I don't need it.」

「Yes, you do. You look not good.」她淡淡的說。

“And wonder why is that, huh？”滿在心裡諷刺地想著。吸了一口氣，她緩緩地說：「No. my Lord. I don't want to be drugged to sleep again. I...I have to stay awake.」

瞇起眼，她把湯放在床旁邊。「For what？」

「I need to go.」滿小小聲的說：「I am worried about my daughter.」

「She should be here any minute.」

「What？」滿楞楞地看著『她』。

「I said---」

「NO！I can't---」滿驚慌失措地想下床。「I can't let her see me like this！」

「She has already seen you like this, as a matter of fact, she saw what happened in the yard yesterday.」大手放在滿的肩膀，她的語氣還是淡淡地。

「Oh...no...」滿的臉色更加蒼白。她顫抖著聲音，喃喃自語地說：「She saw...she---Hope was there？Oh, gods！It's truly her！」

「Yes.」她把手抽離開滿，不曉得為什麼，她突然覺得她不應該碰她。「She was there. But I have ordered Delia to take care of her...」頓了一下，她小聲的說：「Don't worry.」

「By the gods...she is just a child...how could she have seen what took place in the yard？」滿還是喃喃地說著，彷彿沒有聽到『她』的安慰。

努力克制心中的罪惡感，『她』只是站在一旁，看著床上的女孩為自己純真的女兒而哭泣。那顫抖抽續的肩膀，讓『她』再一次認知到滿的嬌小柔弱。

“Strange, she seemed larger than life itself last night.”她在心裡想著。「Look, you have to calm down, for your daughter...and...for yourself.」

藍眼看著『她』，眨了眨，使得幾滴淚水又滑下眼眶。滿深吸好幾口氣，想平穩自己的情緒。「You are right. I have to be strong for my daughter.」

「Don't worry, you are strong enough already.」她拋下這一句，就往房門外走去。

滿只能無言地看著『她』的背影，不曉得『她』究竟是什麼意思。

等『她』回來時，已經過了幾分鐘。而且這次『她』帶著兩個人進來。

「Mama！」小小的黑影一看到床上的人，便加快速度往滿衝去。

「Hope, be ca---」滿看著那奔跑不穩的身影，怕自己的女兒跌倒。

突然小小的身體浮在半空中。Hope轉過頭，藍色大眼對上那雙深綠色的眼睛。

「Be careful.」冷冷的說完，她才把小女孩放下。

Hope有些害怕地點點頭。慢慢地朝著她的母親走過去，可是到最後幾步，她還是用跑的了。

對『她』的舉動，滿有些驚訝。滿不曉得『她』的“小心”是要Hope小心點不要跌倒；還是要她小心點不要傷到她。

不管如何，這都讓滿露出一個十分開心的笑容。

看著笑容滿面的滿，『她』咳了一聲，有些尷尬地轉過頭。但一轉過頭，就又看到另一雙帶笑的眼，調侃地看著『她』。

「What？」低吼了一聲。

「Nothing.」Delia無辜地聳聳肩。

笑了笑，滿抱著一爬上大床就不斷往她懷裡鑽的女兒。「Here, sweetheart, missed me？」

「Yes.」小小顆的頭在溫暖的懷中輕輕的點著。「Worried too.」

滿的笑容不禁變得有些苦澀。

「I am fine, honey, do not worry now, OK？」

「'K.」不確定的大眼看著她的母親，Hope小小聲地說：「Can I do something, Mama？To make you feel good？」

「Hope, just seeing you here, that makes Mama feel great.」滿溫柔地摸著小女孩金色的頭髮。

「But I know how to make the boo-boo go away.」Hope很驕傲地說著，然後湊向前親了滿的臉頰一下。「Feel good？」

深藍色的眼睛看著那雙帶著期待的藍眼，滿感動地說：「Yes, that feels good, honey.」緊緊地抱著女兒，她從沒有一刻覺得這世上已經沒有什麼事情能比當母親更美滿了。「Thank you, Hope, I love you.」

「Love you too, Mama！」小手臂也緊緊地抱著她。Hope高興著能再次吸到她母親熟悉的香氣。

滿突然倒抽了一口氣。她咬著牙，不讓自己的女兒知道她已經傷到她的背了。

但是有人卻一點也不在意。

「You are hurting her, kid. Let go of your mother.」

兩雙藍色大眼看向『她』。然後Hope趕緊放開手，她開始焦急地哭著說：「Oh, Mama, I am sorry, I am sorry...please, don't be mad at me, I am so sorry---」

「Hope, honey, it's all right, it's all right...」滿抱著她，輕輕地搖著，拍著她的背。藍眼責備性地看著『她』。「Shh...I am fine, it's Ok...I've got you...shhh...Mama's here...」

Delia拉著『她』的手臂。「Come on, let them be alone.」

明顯地想反對，但看到那雙責備的眼睛後，『她』也只能溫吞地跟著Delia離開。

滿忍不住在心裡嘆了口氣。

「Didn't want to hurt Mama...」Hope抽噎地說著：「Love you, Mama, don't want to hurt you...」

「You didn't hurt Mama, silly,」滿微笑，舉起一隻手臂，她假裝沒事地說：「See, I am fine, you didn't hurt me.」

「Really？」

「Yes.」“By all the gods！That one really hurts！But I'd be damned if I let Hope know.”微微一笑，滿用手臂輕柔地擦掉小臉上的淚水。「Now, don't cry, or you are going to have bad dreams tonight.」

小臉皺成一團，她怕做惡夢。

「You shouldn't have said that to Hope.」兩人一走出房門外，Delia就馬上不贊同的說。

「I was trying to tell the kid to be more careful.」坐在前廳的椅子上，她把桌上的酒倒在杯子裡。

「No, you were telling the girl to back the Hades off.」

「Such language, Delia.」她挖苦地說。

「Children have sensitive hearts, Uranus,」Delia無奈地說：「They broken easily, especially this one.」

聽到這個從小看著她長大的人用自己的名字叫她時，有那麼一瞬間，她想到小時後和弟弟一起在母親的客棧裡玩耍的情景。她喝了口酒，挫敗地說：「Fine, my bad, happy now？」

「No. I doubt I ever will.」“Not when you are like this.”Delia從『她』手中把酒杯拿走。「This sort of thing is no good for your health.」

「Yes, “Mom”.」她諷刺地說了一聲。

「Ha, you wish.」

「I do.」突然沉下了臉，她緊盯著自己放在桌面的手。「Sometimes.」

「Uranus,」Delia和藹地將手搭在『她』的肩上，她柔和地說：「Grahidra is still alive, it's not too late to see her.」

「The problem is, Delia,」她揚起冷淡的笑容。「Will she ever want to see me again？」

「You are her daughter---」

「---who took her son's life.」她打斷話，接下去說。

「Uranus, don't beat yourself up on things that happened so long ago.」Delia說著這十幾年來不斷重複的話。「Besides, you had done nothing wrong.」

「Delia, I know the pain of losing your child.」她平淡的語氣裡有著明顯的痛苦。「And trust me, when time can heal all wounds, it certainly not one of them. You will always hate the person who took your children away from you.」苦澀地笑了笑，她的眼睛從來就沒有離開過自己的手。「I should know, right？」

「Oh, Uranus, my dear,」Delia紅著眼，溫柔地從背後抱著『她』。「No matter, you will always be my child, as long as you want.」

綠眼緩緩地閉上。「Thank you, Delia, thank you.」

「For what？」

「For being here.」

她們兩人就這樣抱了一會兒，直到門外的敲門聲響起，『她』才清了清喉嚨，站起身要門外的人進來。

「Morning, Lord Conqueror.」進門的是Palimon.他先是恭敬地對『她』行禮，然後才對站在一旁的Delia說：「Morning, Delia.」

雖然說一個將軍對伺從行禮打招呼是一件很奇怪的事，但是Palimon知道Delia在他的王心中的地位。事實上，宮中每一個人都知道，這位皇宮總廚師，是一個不可侵犯的人物。

再加上她為人大方，親切和善，不會理會別人的身分，只會在意他人的內在。這種一視同仁的寬闊態度，也讓一向被當作物品的奴隸們對她十分忠誠。

曾經有一度，Palimon以為他的王會對她態度那麼友善，就是因為她能確切地掌管宮中奴隸們的忠誠心。而不會像其他國家一樣，因為奴隸叛變而萌生問題。但這幾年跟Delia相處下來，他也發現這位婦人的確是個讓人尊敬的女性。如果因為她平民的外表而小看她，那有人就要倒大霉了。

「Morning to you too, General Palimon.」Delia和氣地說：「Well, if there is no other matter, Lord Conqueror, I am going to cook.」

搖搖頭，她笑著說：「Yes, you are dismissed, “Chief Delia”.」

「Remember, be nice to the girls.」Delia叮嚀『她』。「I will come to visit Sara later, and see if I can kipnap little Hope from her Mama.」

說完她朝著兩人行禮後，就離開了房間。

Palimon見了他的王這番好心情，心裡不禁好奇起來。「Is everything alright？」

「You tell me, Palimon.」她站起身，往門外走去。「What is it so important that you can't wait until the meeting in the War Council Chamber？」

「It's about Brutus, Lord Conqueror.」跟上腳步，Palimon謹慎地說。

“Damn, almost forgot about him！Well, ok, I did forget about him.”在心裡嘆了口氣，她平穩地問著：「I believe you have released him.」

「Yes. And I have sent the spies to keep an eye on him.」Palimon說：「They will report to me twice in a week.」

「Good. Now all we have to do is wait.」想著那個男人回國後會造成的風波，她不禁漾起邪惡的笑容。「A shame, let that man do all the work.」

「Lord Conqueror,」Palimon頓了頓，他們已經走到軍議室的門口了。「Permission to speak freely.」

「Granted.」她停下腳步，仔細聽著門內將軍們的對談。

「How do you know that Brutus will betray Caesar？」被那雙綠眼緊盯著，Palimon有些緊張地解釋著：「I mean, Brutus is well known for his loyalty to Caesar, do you really think he will betray him？」

「No, I don't think, Palimon.」她看著他，微微一笑。「I “know” he will betray Caesar. The man is too loyalty to Caesar, he would think what he is going to do is the best for his “friend” and his people.」低低地笑了出聲，她諷刺的說：「Talk about blind faith, huh？」

說完，『她』便開了門，進了軍議室。一片吵雜的房間突然如時間靜止般的沒了聲音。

然後是一致的恭問聲。

Palimon則想著『她』說的話，等過了好一會兒才進了室內，關上門。

「Hades！That witch really knows how to put a good show！」Drakaus笑著說，他的心情還因為剛才在廣場上看到女孩被人鞭打的情景而興奮不已。「Damn, I am so hot！」

「What the Hades are you talking about, man！」站在Drakaus旁邊，一個瘦小的年輕人這麼說：「What the Conqueror did to Sara was unbelievably horrible！And poor Hope, she must be very terrified now, seeing her mother like that！」

「Patrec, you are just a kid, you don't know how that scene turned men on！」低低的笑著，Drakaus想著滿那因痛苦而發出的低鳴，還有那碎裂的衣服無法掩蓋的滑潤肌膚，隨著鮮豔的血和耀眼的陽光，在他眼前閃閃發亮的一幕。「Gods！That sound of her voice...her body looked so soft...I could almost smell her sweet scent---」

「What I don't know is, Drakaus, that how you can be so disgusting.」Patrec冷冷的截斷他的話。

「That's why you are still a “boy”.」Drakaus跟著人群離開廣場。「I bet all the men in the yard today all lust after Sara, but just damn them all to Tartarus, I will be the one who has her！」

「You've got to be crazy, man！」聽到他的話，Patrec驚恐地說：「What are you going to do？You can't have what belongs to the Conqueror！」

Patrec一向就知道Drakaus對滿的非分之想……事實上，幾乎皇宮裡所有的男人，在她第一天出現在宮中時，就有把這個奴隸占為己有的念頭。那雙深藍色的大眼，只是看著你，就讓你雙腿發軟；那溫柔的微笑和甜蜜的氣息，當她叫著你的名字時獨有的音調，更是讓所有男人在夜裡恨著自己不是『她』。

是的，『她』。要不是大家都恐懼著那個有著冰冷綠瞳的王，怕當『她』發現竟然有人敢在『她』的皇宮，對『她』的奴隸下手的話，滿恐怕在第一天就不知道淪落到哪個將軍的府邸了。

Patrec雖然只是個年輕人，但常跟宮中奴隸混在一起的他，也十分了解每個男人對滿的心思。“Well, it's not like I can blame them.”想到有幾晚自己做的夢，他就不禁臉紅起來。

他也不只一次提醒過滿要她多小心自己的安全，尤其不管是白天還是晚上，不要一個人接近訓練廣場。在那裡，是皇宮侍衛歇息的地方，同時也是一些由王親身訓練的軍人們的駐紮處。誰也不敢保證一個女人到了那裡會發生什麼事。

不，事實上，每個人都知道會發生什麼事。

儘管他們的王嚴厲規定『她』的士兵們不准對女人有任何不當的舉動，但是仍有一些喜愛向權威挑戰，或者，只是單純笨到骨子裡的人，會違抗這項命令。而他們的下場就是被王下令雙手用鐵釘釘在十字架上，被打斷腿，掛在雅典城中心的言論廣場，直到他們血流乾為止。

但是無論處罰有多嚴酷，還是無法安慰那些被傷害的人們。

當Patrec又提起這些細節時，滿老是會用一種十分溫柔卻又堅持的語氣說：【I will handle him.】

「That she-demon may be the Conqueror, but she definitely couldn't give women what they want and need.」

「And that would be？」Patrec不感興趣地問。

「Men, Patrec,」Drakaus的右手得意的放在自己的跨下。「We men got a “thing” that can make women happy, and beg for more！」

“Well, Sara, I really hope you can handle him. Gods！He is a pig by natural！”大大地嘆了口氣，Patrec十分擔心滿的安危。

「Yeah...I will have you, Sara, you are mine---」低低的跟自己說著，Drakaus黑色的眼睛裡有著瘋狂的情感。「We belong together.」

Chapter 9. As the Barriers Breached

「Mama？」

「Yes？」滿看著還窩在她懷中的女兒，她輕聲問著：「What is it, honey？」

「Why...why did the Lady,」Hope說到這裡不禁緊緊地依向滿。「...hurt you？」

深吸一口氣，憂傷充斥在滿的眼睛裡。「Because...because she was angry, Hope.」

「So the Lady hurt you？」藍色大眼帶著不解。「If I am angry, can I hurt people too, Mama？」

「No！」看到Hope突然往後縮的身體，滿頓了頓，察覺自己的語氣太過嚴厲。「Hope, listen to Mama here, you can not hurt people because you are angry. In fact, you absolutely, positively, and most certainly can not hurt people for any reason you might “think” you have.」

皺著眉，像是在思考著，Hope又問：「How so？」

「It's wrong, honey.」滿柔柔地說：「When you hurt people, you lose a part of yourself, and eventually, you will lose your soul.」

「If I lost my soul, would I die？」Hope就像所有的小孩一樣，有著許許多多的問題。

「No, you wouldn't.」閉上眼，滿的腦海裡出現一雙冰冷無感情的綠眼。「But you would never be able to live with yourself, let alone with other people.」

「You mean then I have to be alone？」Hope繼續問，不過打了一個呵欠。「That sounds sad, Mama...」

「You are right, sweetheart.」滿輕輕拍著女兒的背，好讓她進入睡眠。「That's sad.」

「Mama...」Hope的眼睛已經完全閉上了，可是她還是很頑固地想繼續問問題。「The Lady hurt you, then she can't live with us now, can she？」

原本也靜靜地閉起眼睛的滿，聽到她的問話，不禁驚訝地回問：「You want to live with the Lady？」

「Mmmm...she is really scary...」Hope口齒模糊地說：「...and she is really pretty too...and her hair looks like Hope---and---」

滿聽著自己的女兒語無倫次地說著，她微微一笑，輕撫著她的金色頭髮。等過了幾秒還沒聽到Hope有什麼下文時，滿知道她已經睡了。

將女兒小小顆的頭放在舒適柔軟的大枕頭上，滿聽到她這麼說：「...and the Lady is really lonely...」

看著那無邪的睡臉，滿開始發現，即使這一生，這個叫Sara的女孩過著都是受盡折磨的悲苦日子，她依然擁有全世界最珍貴的寶物，她一輩子的喜悅。

「I love you, Hope, sweet dreams.」

在Hope額上親了一下，滿轉過頭剛好看到Delia和Karus進了房門。

「Hello, Sara.」Delia走到床前，和藹地說：「Ah, I see the little one is finally asleep.」

「She has always been hard to tuck into bed.」滿笑著。

「Well, she is a fierce little fighter that's for sure.」眨了眨眼，Delia調侃地說：「Like mother, like daughter.」

知道她話中的意思，滿不禁臉紅起來。她知道這個婦人還以為她跟『她』在那天晚上-----“Was it only two days ago？”想到那晚兩人的短暫親密，滿的臉變得更紅了。“Seems like a lifetime to me.”

「Now, that's no need to be shy, but it's indeed lovely. Guess red is your color.」Delia繼續說。

「Delia, please, the Lady here would die from embarrassment if you kept that one up.」Karus把箱子裡的藥拿出來。「How are you feeling this morning？」

「Like I have been whipped and had a nearly-death fever？」滿開玩笑的說：「Except that, I am fine.」

Karus微微一笑。「You have a remarkable healing.」

「I am used to it.」滿淡淡的說。「Are you here to give the herb that can make me sleepy, Sir？」

Karus聽到滿的回答，先是不知道該怎麼回應，然後才很不自在地清了清喉嚨。「Yes, and to change your bandage as well.」

「Sir, I do not need the sedation herb, and as for the bandage,」滿看了Delia一眼，視線回到眼前的老醫生臉上。她緩緩的說：「I believe Delia can help me with that.」

Delia和Karus兩人都同時露出驚訝的表情。

Karus是因為滿說她寧願忍著痛，也不想使用止痛藥讓她再進入睡眠；Delia則是驚訝於滿的智慧，知道自己一定有話想跟她說。

「Sara, you must know that if you did not use the sedation, you would have to suffer the extreme pain, which is not even necessary.」

Karus那種耐心像是在對頑固不吃藥的小孩子說話的語氣，讓滿不禁露出一抹好笑的笑容。「Yes, Sir, I do. However, the pain is not unnecessary, I want to stay awake in case something happens to me or Hope.」

「What would happen to you？」一旁的Delia好奇的問。

「We never know.」滿說：「But something tells me I have to be more careful from now on.」

「Something tells me you are a very stubborn woman.」搖搖頭，Karus把藥和紗布拿給Delia.「You do know how to change bandage, do you not？」

「Well, when you know someone like the Conqueror, you could be a blind man and still be able to change bandage.」Delia聳聳肩。「Practice makes perfect.」

「Then, I shall leave you to your work.」Karus朝著滿和Delia點一下頭，便安靜的離開房間。

「Shall we？」Delia等著滿把身上的外掛脫下後，她開始幫滿上藥。看著她的背，Delia忍不住痛心地說：「Uranus really was out of line this time.」

聽到她用那個名字稱呼『她』時，滿知道這個婦人將是她要了解所有在十二年前那場戰役和隨後所發生的事的入門票。

「She was, was she？」滿試探性地反問。

「Definitely.」Delia邊擦著藥邊說：「She never hurt women and children on purpose.」

「Really.」咬緊牙，滿忍著背部的刺痛說：「Why is that？」

「Uranus loves children.」自己說著，Delia也覺得這句話聽起來很好笑。她微笑著說：「I know it sounds unbelievable, incredible even. But she ever and will never lay her hands on children. She would kill herself before she does it.」

「Because she has a child herself？」

停下手頭的動作，Delia深褐色的眼睛緊緊地盯著滿。

藍眼不畏懼地回看她，滿的臉上沒有流露出任何情緒，彷彿她剛才所說的只是今天的天氣。「People talk, you know.」

「It is forbidden to mention that particular rumor in the Conqueror's presence. Those who have been unfortunate enough to do so, didn't live long enough to regret their stupid action.」Delia的語氣有著與平時不同的嚴肅。

「I will keep that in mind.」知道一出手就碰了釘子，嘆了口氣，滿將頭躺回手臂上。

「You do that.」慢慢地將紗布舖上滿的背，Delia突然說：「I am sorry for what she did to you.」

「Delia, if there's someone who needs to apologize, that would not be you.」滿輕輕地把外掛披上。「And before you say anything, Delia, it would not be the Conqueror too.」

「Do you mind telling me what exactly happened between you two that would cause her to respond this way to you？」Delia小聲問著，不想吵醒床上正熟睡著的小女孩。

「It was about Hope.」頓了頓，滿說：「Most of it.」

「What about Hope？And what do you mean, “most of it”？Was there something else？」

「First, she saw Drakaus trying to...have his way with me.」滿坐起身，看著那張睡臉。「And then, we had quite a fierce conversation.」

「A fierce conversation？」

「She said something I don't like, then I said something she doesn't like.」

「What did she say？」Delia知道裡面必定有什麼滿沒有告訴她。

嘆了口氣，滿緩緩的解答。「The Conqueror called Hope a bastard.」

「She what？！」

床上的小女孩被突然的聲音給嚇了一跳，滿趕緊安慰她。「Hey, honey, it's all right, go back to sleep, Ok？」

「'K...」拉緊棉被，小女孩轉過身又睡著了。

「Gods...」還陷在滿所說的事實中，Delia不敢相信地搖搖頭。

「She didn't say that to hurt Hope,」滿沒有看著她，但是Delia還是可以清楚看出她臉上哀淒的表情。「She said that to hurt me.」

「Oh, Sara, I am so very sorry.」輕輕拉起滿的手，Delia同情的心意表露無疑。「I am so sorry.」

無奈地看向窗外，在陽光反射下的藍色大眼，比平時更淺更淡，近乎灰色。滿只是小聲地回答：「So am I .」

褐色眼睛帶著不解與遺憾，Delia坐在滿的旁邊，喃喃說著：「Sometimes, I wonder where the girl went off.」

琉璃色的藍眼看著她，像是不想打攪眼前婦人的回憶一樣，滿輕聲問：「The girl？」

「The girl who used to help people whatever she could.」Delia無力低啞的說：「The girl who leaded us to fight for our home, who taught us the greatest strength comes from ourselves and showed us the real power of hope.」

「The girl that you hate once the war was over.」滿接下去說，她的聲音帶著嚴厲和審判的味道。

「I do not hate her,」搖搖頭，Delia說：「I never have. I may be an ignorant common peasant, but I still know people do die during the war.」

「I know you don't.」滿看著她，柔和地說：「The fact that you are here, worrying and caring for her, is a clear enough evidence.」

Delia也回她一笑。兩人就這麼保持沉默，各自陷在不同的思緒中。

過了幾分鐘，Delia才又緩緩開口說話，這次她的聲音就像往常一樣和藹有精神。「You know, my husband died in that war too.」舉起手制止滿任何表示同情的話，她繼續說：「Even though, I still don't hate her. My husband made his decision, and suffered the consequence from his own free will...」笑容裡帶著懷念和後悔。「But sometimes...just sometimes... I can't help but wonder...what if I had done a good job of convincing him to give up on his decision, would he be here now？Would he be in other woman's bed now？」

兩個女人都為最後這個念頭感到好笑。

「I am not a warrior, I can not and probably will never be able to understand why my husband and the men wanted to follow a seventeen-year-old girl into a battlefield.」Delia想著自己的丈夫跟她說過的話，她不禁無奈地搖搖頭。「But my husband did explain the reason to me.」

「Do you mind sharing？」滿好奇地問。

「Ah, he told me that when Uranus picked up a sword, he saw the inner power that showing through her sea green eyes, and her golden blond hair shining liked the God of Sun himself.」Delia頓了頓，想著十二年前的對話。「Uranus was wearing a deep black armor and her hair was long---even longer than now, I remember that fateful day---the day when she standing under the bluest sky I have ever seen...she's like...like---」

「Like the God of Sky.」滿柔柔地說。

「Oh, yes, the God of Sky.」Delia轉過頭看她。「How do you know？」

「Lucky guess.」滿微微一笑。

「Well...anyway, I was quite shocked then. Never thought he could think that way about a person.」

「That means that person must be very special.」

「Yeah, that's her.」Delia微笑著說：「Miss “I-am-very-special, don't-you-dare-look-at-me-in-the-eye” Uranus.」

滿也露出笑容，手無意識地撫摸著女兒的頭髮，她低低的說：「She was just a child when all this happened...sometimes the Fates are indeed really cruel, deciding the mortal's life like that.」

「That's why they are called “the Fates”.」皺起眉，Delia同意地說：「They have their strange sense of humor.」

「Why on the earth did you not want Karus to use the sedation herb on you？！」

倚靠著白色床柱，滿面無表情地看著那個一進房門便大聲質問她的人。「And good afternoon to you too, My Lord.」

「Answer the question, woman！」走到床前，她的語氣更差。

滿看著『她』今天穿著一件淡黑色的長袍，從左肩由胸前至腰劃過一條象徵皇室的紫金色繡線；『她』的腰間一如往常地掛著一把長刀，刀鞘上金色的獅子紋路栩栩如生地張著牠綠寶石的眼睛，就像牠的主人一樣威嚴地盯著所有事物；今天『她』的金色長髮沒有綁成辮子，而是任其鬆開，恣意四散在『她』結實強壯的肩膀上，彷彿『她』即將飛翔於天際，躍上那眾神所在的山峰，繼續『她』的征服，『她』的統治。

滿甚至能發誓她看到『她』的頭上閃著如同被太陽神所加冕的金色皇冠。

“Gods, she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.”深藍色的雙眼帶著讚嘆與驕傲。“And she is so...powerful, so...dangerous.”

「What's wrong with you, don't tell me you are going to faint, again.」她的眉毛疑惑地皺著，雙眼略帶擔心地盯著滿奇怪的表情。

「Hmmm...huh？」滿張開嘴想說什麼，但想了一下後還是吞了進去。「I am sorry, you were saying？」

「No, I was asking.」環起手臂，她冷淡的說。

「Oh, well, then...」滿有些緊張的笑了笑。「What were you asking？」

眉頭更加緊鎖。「Why did you not want Karus to use the herb on you？」

「Oh, that.」滿頓了一下。「I do not want to be drugged to sleep.」

「Yeah, you said that before.」退了幾步，她走到桌子旁，搬了張椅子坐下。「But I thought you were saying that just to annoy the Hades out of me.」

微微一笑，滿說：「Now, why would I want to do that？」

看著坐在床上的女孩太過無辜的表情，她瞇起犀利的綠眼。「Why, indeed.」

「I do not like the feeling that herb affects on me.」回到正經，滿淡淡地說：「I do not like to feel weak.」

「No one does.」她能體會滿的心情。「Fine, you like pain, then you can have all of it.」

「Thanks, My Lord.」滿有些諷刺的回答。

「Ah, I see you feel better today.」她揚起嘴角說。

「Again, thanks.」

一抹幽默和敬意閃近翠綠色的眼睛裡，她優雅的倒了杯茶，也沒問滿要不要，就自己喝了下去。

吞了口口水，滿有些煩躁的轉移視線，想分心自己口渴的感覺。她已經這麼坐在床上一整天，無聊是不用說了。等Delia帶著熟睡的Hope離開時，她只能自己一個人盯著偌大的房間，想著這幾天所有發生的事。而那些記憶是這麼……不愉快，讓滿不由得罵起自己愛胡思亂想的腦袋。

遙常說，她是最難纏的病人。因為不舒服會讓滿變得很易怒，像個小地雷似地，碰到她一根寒毛就要等著暴彈攻擊。再加上從今早起來，她的胃就不斷地抽痛著，通常這就表示有什麼事情將要發生了。

這些都讓滿的精神變得十分緊繃。

「I want to continue the conversation we had this morning.」放下杯子，她整個人顯得神清氣爽。

藍眼瞪著『她』明顯輕鬆的神情，滿挖苦的說：「What conversation？The “truth or dare”conversation？Or the“I can cut your tongue out if you talk too much”conversation？」扯著笑容，她假裝有禮的說：「For the record, I believe you ended it yourself, My Lord, and quite rudely, I may add.」

「You are “definitely” feeling much better.」對滿的嘲諷，她只是淡淡的回應。「We did not really get to the point of my judgment on you, did we？」

抵抗的表情出現在滿的臉上。「I thought I have already received your judgment “on” my back.」

「That's not judgment, that's punishment.」

滿嘆了口氣，沒有心情跟『她』爭論。「May I, My Lord, ask what judgment you have decided on me？」

「All right, here is my judgment on you---」她站起身，一派威嚴與尊貴。綠眼審視著滿幾秒，才用著低沉平穩的嗓音接下去說：「I will let you live as long as you always speak truth to me. And let us see if I am ever afraid.」她慢慢地走到滿的面前，無視於她驚訝的表情。修長冰冷的食指抬起滿的下巴，讓兩人的眼神緊緊相對。「But listen well, if I catch you in even one lie, one falsehood, one shading of fact, you will go up on a cross…and I promise it will be a more permanent arrangement than the whipping train yesterday.」

「I---I...ummm...I understand.」滿結結巴巴的回答。不曉得是因為『她』的決定，還是因為『她』的懲罰。

「But it would look bad if I let a slave speak to me that way.」她微微一笑，似乎為了自己能引起滿這種反應感到得意。「So...I am freeing you.」

「You are what？」滿楞楞地問。

「I am giving you freedom.」她淡淡的說：「Tomorrow, I will have Bemitrius, my first advisor, make the appropriate annotations in the official scrolls, and Palimon will make sure that all of the palace guards are informed that you are to be allowed unrestricted passage through the various palace exits. You are no longer a slave, but an advisor of the government, the new Oracle of the Greece Empire.」

「I am not a slave anymore？」滿不可置信地說：「And I am an Oracle now？」

「Yes.」左手自然地停在腰間長刀的刀柄，相較於滿的興奮，她的嘴角只是掛著冷淡的笑容。「Your life for truthful lips. Let me see how long my Oracle of truth shall live...this time.」

注意到『她』話中隱藏的意思，滿小心翼翼地問：「This time？What happened to the Oracle of yours last time？」

「He was dead.」聳聳肩，她無所謂的說：「I killed him.」

「You kill---」滿眨了眨眼。「---Why？」

「He did not speak truth.」

「What did he say？」滿克制住不斷加快的心跳，勉強讓自己的聲音保持不顫抖。「What had he possibly said that would cost his own life？」

「That's not your concerned.」她冷冷的回答。

「Well, if I was going to be your Oracle, I should know what kind of words that could get me killed, right？」

「What？So you can say those words immediately？」

「I can't believe I am going to say that,」雖然臉色有點蒼白，滿還是微微一笑。「But you are very funny, My Lord.」

看了一眼那雙堅持的藍眼，她知道她只能跟滿說實話---一個好的領導者總是知道對付怎樣的人應該用什麼樣的戰術。「He said he had received the message of Athena, the Goddess of Wisdom, that one day I will be conquered, not just body, but heart and soul. That I will surrender to a person who holds the most powerful weapon in the world.」

「And you did not believe it？」

「I will never surrender to anyone, not to the gods, and certainly, not to a mortal.」她冷冷的說，自信的神態如同這是一件理所當然的事。「I need an Oracle who can speak truth, not make jokes.」

「I told you, My Lord, the truth is every man persuades another to believe.」在心裡嘆口氣，『她』的自大讓滿有點受不了。回話時，她的語氣變得有點強硬。「What he said did not become a truth is because he did not persuade you to believe it. That dose not make him a liar. Personally, I think he was a brave man.」

「He was a stupid man.」煩躁地揮了一下手，她轉過身往房門走去。「I do not wish to start this getting-serious conversation just now. You need to rest, and I need to attend to my business.」想到什麼，她又轉過身面對滿。「I will have Anya to see to your needs, room and stuff. Before everything is settled, you will stay in my chamber.」

滿皺起了眉，她關心地問：「If I am to stay in your chamber, where are you going to stay then？」

環起手臂，她揚起一貫帶著邪氣的笑容。「Who says I am not staying here？」

知道那句話和那個笑容代表什麼，滿緊張地吞了一下口水，然後才清了清喉嚨說：「I do not know that one of the duty of the Oracle is to serve the Conqueror in her "bed"chamber.」

「Oh, you do not know plenty of things.」低低的笑出聲，她的眼神讓滿覺得自己是被蟒蛇盯著的小兔子。「But no worries, I always "teach" my Oracle how to use their lips and tongue to servr the Conqueror appropriately.」像是折磨滿的神經般，她邪惡地加了一句。「One way or another.」

僵硬地坐在床上，無言以對的滿只能睜著一雙受到驚嚇的藍眼，看著『她』說完話就得意地走出房門外。

「Oh, my, she's kidding right？」滿問著自己，忍不住翻了一下白眼。「Right.」

當滿在思考時，她原本溫暖的深色藍眼，會逐漸轉淡，帶著連她自己也不知道的冷酷。就像是把平時的海王滿和這時的她硬生生區隔開似地，使她周圍環繞著一股令人望之卻步、深沉可懼的氣息。但她不自覺中營造出的光芒，卻又像暈暗海洋上的一座孤臺，引誘著無數迷途的船隻趨近，想被那黑夜中的唯一曙光所包圍。

就是這份近似不協調的違和感，使得在滿一生中，只有少數幾人稱得上真正了解她。而那個跟她分享所有感情的朋友，那個讓她願以生命許下永恆承諾的夥伴，那個教導她如何去愛與被愛的靈魂……

滿坐在床上，盯著桌上的蠟燭，不禁深深地嘆了口氣。

慢慢地舉起手攏了攏因躺了一整天而有些雜亂的捲髮，她半認真地考慮著改天把它們剪掉。但是一想到某個對她的長髮有特別愛好的人，滿馬上就否決掉這個想法。

【這麼漂亮的頭髮剪掉多可惜，妳別浪費啦！】

閉起眼，滿想像著她的反應。揚起一抹甜蜜的笑，她幾乎可以看到當她說著這句話時，那雙翠綠色的眼睛會閃著怎樣的光彩，那兩道修長的眉會如何微微地皺著，一向愛笑的唇瓣會像個要不到玩具的小孩一樣的提高。

當然她永遠也不會承認她會嘟嘴。滿笑著，無奈地搖搖頭。

思緒一轉，她開始想著今天下午『她』所說的事情。滿下意識地摸著她的脖子，想找尋那個能令她充滿勇氣的東西。這才發覺，那條項墜並不像平時般待在屬於它的地方。

就像它的主人一樣。

轉頭看向窗外，滿告訴自己現在不是感傷的時候。只要完成了她到這裡來的任務，她自然就會回去。

回到屬於她海王滿的地方---天王遙的身邊。

Chapter 10. Darkness Before the Dawn

「That is the road to Syria. When Caesar tries to move the weapons and supplies, he will have to go that way.」

「Have your scouts leave at first light tomorrow. I want to know of every pebble on that path, Commander Titus.」冷靜平穩的聲音，在房間裡清澈的響著。

「Aye, Lord Conqueror.」

在這一間牆上佈滿各國地圖的軍議室裡，只有三人在這樣的深夜裡仍然清醒著。

Palimon已經將早上的盔甲卸下，換上一套簡易活動的麻色外衣和同色系的長褲。在他老婆千叮嚀萬吩咐下，Palimon才勉強披上一件黑棉披風，遮蓋住腰際的長刀。

站在他身旁的是仍然穿著皇家盔甲的Titus.

Titus是率領駐守在Corinth的軍隊的指揮官，最近卻因為羅馬戰事而頻繁出現在皇宮中。Palimon必須對自己承認，他實在不怎麼喜歡這個男人。Titus的風評並不好，尤其是在個人操守的地方，更讓Palimon不齒。那些關於他在駐紮地放任士兵們綁架女人和傷害百姓的傳聞不斷，Palimon甚至還聽說那些士兵之所以這麼囂張，一來是因為他們的長官默許，二來是因為那些被綁的女人有一半是要送到長官的床上。

“This is not the man that can be trusted.”站在一旁仔細聆聽著，Palimon再一次在心裡對自己警告。

「Commander Titus,」看了一眼她異常安靜的副手，睿智的綠眼轉向面前外表恭敬的男人身上。「As of now, do our Roman forces and the Sabine and Etruscan allies outnumber the Caesar legions？」

「Our intelligence sources say ‘yes’ for now, Lord Conqueror,」Titus站直了他高大的身軀，緩緩地回答：「But I do not think we should be liberal about the number of troops we choose to send.」

「I am never liberal, Commander.」合起黑檀木桌上的地圖，她這麼說時語氣裡帶著一絲得意和更多的無趣。

「Of course not, Lord Conqueror.」Titus笑著，右臉上的刀疤隨著他的表情裂開。

看著那個笑容，Palimon選在此時思考起他的王到底當初是看上他哪一點。

彷彿像是知道他的想法，她站起身，嘴上掛著一抹奇特的笑容，低沉的問：「And Palimon, what is your opinion in this matter？」

「I am at your command, Lord Conqueror.」挺直腰桿，Palimon不知為什麼，覺得有些羞愧的低下頭。「As always.」

「Good.」她說，像是對一個聽話的小孩十分滿意。走至窗戶旁，月亮溫和的光輝灑在她身上，使那頭黃金色的長髮看起來比白天還淡，閃著透明的潔淨，如同月之女神般正沐浴在神聖的洗禮中。她背對著兩人，淡淡的問：「Is there anything else, Gentlemen？」

「If I may so inquire, My Lady,」咖啡色的眼睛緊盯著『她』的背，Titus說：「You look absolutely radiant.」

「Where in Tartarus is this coming from？」轉過身看著眼前帶笑的男人，她一邊淡金色的眉毛揚起。無表情的美麗臉蛋上，看不出是高興還是生氣。

「I am just wondering,」Titus有些自以為是的說：「Is there a nice, warm bed waiting for your return？」

「Lay off, Titus.」Palimon嚴肅地說：「You are out of line.」

「Shut up, Palimon.」冷酷的綠眼掃過她的副手，滿意Palimon突然吞了一下口水的反應。當視線再回到Titus身上時，她的臉上掛著笑容。「My ever so strong Commander, what makes you think that？」

「My Lady,」聽到『她』用那種陰柔的嗓音稱自己”強壯”時，Titus對他下半部的生理反應十分了解。他清了清喉嚨，那份自大的態度越來越明顯。「I have heard that you had tamed this beautiful slave, and took her over your knees, had you not？」

『她』低低的笑出聲，當這個聲音讓Palimon下意識緊張地摸著腰際的劍柄時，Titus只是得意地跟『她』一起笑著。

「Oh, you have no idea, Commander.」停下了笑聲，她的嘴角還是帶著笑容。翠綠色的眼睛唯有在情緒興奮時才會流露出火熱的青艷眸光---無論是在戰場上，還是在房間裡。「You have absolutely no idea.」嗓音轉為低沉，沙啞。

「Do I not？」Titus想著那個他只在皇宮中見過一眼的奴隸，他還記得她白皙的肌膚在陽光下閃耀的樣子，和女孩那張無論何時何地都像在引誘每個男人的臉蛋。「By the gods！I have never seen any slave looks as seduce as that girl is. I am sure she is a “very” qualified lay, I tell you, every man wants to make her scream his name！」

「I see...and that including you, of course.」

Titus仍然沉浸在他自己的幻想中，絲毫沒注意到『她』臉上的笑容已經消去，只留下那雙火焰的深綠色眼睛緊盯著他。

「Of cour---」

他並沒有幸運地把話說完，當Palimon察覺時，Titus已經朝牆壁飛過去。一陣巨響隨著他緊貼著牆壁的臉在室內回盪。

「I do not need for the Commander of my Corinthian Army to spend this entire mission infirmary, General Palimon,」冷冷地看著那個被自己踢飛，趴在地上的指揮官，她平淡的說：「I need him alive and kicking, at least for now. So make sure he keeps his annoying mouth shut.」

「By your will, Lord Conqueror.」Palimon的右腳用力地點了一下地板，他略微弓著腰回答。

「Get him out of my sight before he tempts me to get rid of him once and for all.」她走回桌子旁，拿起剛才倒了酒卻一直沒動到的杯子。喝了一口酒後，她緩慢地，有些無聊地說：「Have someone look at his chest. I felt a crunch in his ribs when I kicked him.」

「Aye, Lord Conqueror.」Palimon看了一眼不醒人事被抬走的Titus.想著他的王竟然能踢斷一個身上穿著盔甲的男人的肋骨，尤其這個男人不是別人，而是經歷過無數戰事和訓練的指揮官。

Palimon驕傲地挺直背桿，一個軍人最榮耀的事莫過於被一位真正的強者所領導。

「Palimon, where is the pretty boy now？」放下空杯子，她又坐回到椅子上。打開另一份捲軸，語氣還是依舊平淡的問。

「Marcus Anthony,」Palimon頓了一下後才接著說：「is in Alexanderia at this moment.」

「And in Cleopatra's bed, I'd bet.」冷冷一笑，想起那位美麗的埃及皇后，她的綠眼開始閃著異常的光芒。

「I believe Anthony is planning to take the Egyptian Navy.」

「Oh, please, Palimon.」從桌上捲軸的內容中抬起頭，她哈哈大笑。「Who isn't？」

「You.」

兩道好奇的眉挑起，她環起手臂好整以暇的看著他。「And, my General, how did you know I do not want the Navy？」

「If you did, Lord Conqueror,」Palimon平靜地說：「you would have already took them when Queen Cleopatra had offered two years ago...in this very palace.」

「Palimon, she did not offer me her Navy.」她邊倒著酒邊說：「She offered me her body.」

Palimon的雙眼張的老大，紅潮開始出現在他一向正經嚴肅的臉上。「Oh！I mean...oh...I just thought...well...she...I...ugh...」

揚著略帶淘氣的笑容，她慢條斯理地喝著酒，觀賞她的副手害羞尷尬的樣子。過了一會兒，她才說：「She is a very attractive woman, Palimon, let alone her position in Egypt. But...too bad, she is not my type.」

“And your type would be？”咬著舌頭，Palimon忍下這個問題。他假裝不懂的反問：「Not your type？」

「Nup.」她無所謂地聳聳肩。”Some blue-eyed person maybe, with the most incredible gentle smile...and cute nose...and soft skin...and warm hands...yeah, don't forget about the warm hands...”意識到自己的想法，她不禁皺起了眉。"Okay, didn't see that one coming. Since when did I get this type thing anyway？”突兀地站起身，她有些煩躁地開始在房間中來回走著。「Let's get back to work, Palimon, I want you to send a message to the pretty boy.」停下腳步，大手不自在地揉著脖子，不知道為什麼，她突然有一股十分不好的感覺。就好像有人正揍著她的腹部一樣，這份感覺甚至開始讓她產生身體上的不適。「Tell him...tell him to get his sorry ass out off of Cleopatra's bed and back to Rome immediately before Brutus actually kills Caesar and takes over the empire.」

「Consider it done, Lord Conqueror.」

「Very well, if there is no other matter, General,」她深吸一口氣，打算快點回房間查看她新任的帝國賢者兼政府顧問。「you are dismissed.」

Palimon恭敬地點點頭，剛走出軍議室的大門時，就被一個穿著深紫色皇家侍衛隊軍服的人給撞了一下。

「Please pardon me, General Palimon, but I have some emergency matters need to inform the Conqueror.」

Palimon仔細地盯著眼前焦急的男人，這才發現他的身分。「Of course, Captain Odin. Is there something wrong？」

「Yes, I am afraid so, General.」皇家侍衛長緊張地說：「We have captured a boy who was going to sneak out of the Conqueror's chamber.」

「A boy？Who？And what was his purpose？」

「The name is Patrec. He declared that he was there to send a very important message to Lady Sara.」Odin黝黑的臉在深夜裡竟不可思議地明顯的慘白。「And then... when the guides came into the bedchamber...they found out that Lady Sara has been missing.」

「What？」Palimon驚訝地大聲問：「Sara is missing？」

「How the Hades did that happene？」

Palimon和Odin都被這一把突然出現的冷酷聲音給嚇了一跳。轉過身，兩個男人因為站在眼前的影像而驚愕地說不出話來。

高大的身影佇立在大門旁，『她』翠綠色的眼睛融合在深夜裡，漆黑一如森林中的碧潭，流動著足以吞噬人的黑暗力量。幾絲金黃色的瀏海掩蓋著額頭上盛怒的青筋，卻蓋不住『她』如受傷野獸般決定付出一切來復仇的眼神。

緊握住兩雙大手，她克制住那份想狂嘯出聲的慾望。”She is missing. She is gone. She run away. She RUN AWAY！”突然產生的溼熱感，讓她知道有液體在掌中流動著。”She told me she will help me, she promised I am not along. She PROMISSED！Liar, liar...LIAR！”

掌中鮮紅色的液體彷彿是知道主人心裡的痛苦，而替那雙已經沒有能力哭泣的綠眼流淚一樣。

「Conqueror！It is not what you think！」Palimon伸出手想扳開那雙已經流出血液的雙手，但馬上被用力的扭開。忍住手腕的痛---Palimon知道等一下他一定要去見Karus了---他又伸出手，這一次比之前還要強勢，準備應付他的王強壯的力量。「Someone took her, Conqueror.」感覺到那雙手慢慢地失去控制力，Palimon一邊輕輕地扳開『她』的手，一邊低聲說著：「Sara did not run away. Someone must have took her.」

綠眼無焦距地對向那雙擔憂的黑色瞳孔，有那麼一瞬間，Palimon不太確定他看到的是怎樣的情感。

“Hatred？Hurt？”鬆開那雙向來就冰冷的手，Palimon看著『她』像是明白般地輕點一下頭。”Relief？Is the Conqueror actually feeling...something for the girl？”

「Captain,」往前站了一步，她面無表情的臉上看不出任何思緒，唯有那對波濤洶湧的綠湖洩露了些許秘密。「I want every details.」

“Oh...gods...my head hurts like---“吃力地從昏迷中睜開雙眼，藍色的大眼因為漆黑的房間而不適應地眨了眨。”Oh...great...”滿試著轉動兩雙被鐵手銬鎖在頭上的手臂，她的腦裡開始回憶起到底發生什麼事，讓她淪落到這個田地。

【Patrec！By the gods！How did---why---】

【Shhh---I sneaked into here to tell you something, Sara！】Patrec慢慢地從窗戶爬下來，他身上還是穿著那套有些髒的奴隸衣服。

【What's wrong？】滿扶著那個年輕的男孩，關心地問。

【Hope is kidnapped！】他小聲地說，仍處在變聲期的嗓音因為某種異常的緊張情緒而變調地顫抖著。【Drakaus took her！】

【What？But...but Hope was supposed to be with Delia, how did Drakaus kidnap her？】

【Well...I don't know that either.】Patrec低下頭，似乎不敢跟那雙帶著擔心和信任的藍眼相對。他還是壓低著聲音說：【But Drakaus left a note. Said that he wants you to be some place...】

【Drakaus can write？】滿馬上就下意識地問。然後才揮揮手，打算就核心問題發問。【Never mind. Where？】

如果滿不是因為自己的女兒被綁架而擔心到亂了思緒，她一向敏銳的感覺應該會告訴她這個情況有多麼不對勁。

當到了Drakaus指定的地方後，她才發現原來這是皇宮中最偏僻的地方，一處早已被荒廢的馬房。

“And then...someone hit me behind my back.”藍色雙眼開始適應起黑暗，滿甩甩頭，想甩掉後腦杓的疼痛感。”More like my ‘head’.”

「Well, well, well,」房門打開，走進一個拿著火把，身材壯碩的男人。他得意地裂嘴笑著說：「I see you are finally awake, my sweet.」

“Just when I thought things couldn't get any worse...”滿瞇起眼，冷冷地瞪著站在她面前的男人。「Drakaus.」

低低地笑著，Drakaus用空著的右手抬起滿的下巴。「Why, Sara, glad you still remember me.」

忍下想甩開包裹著自己下巴的粗糙大手的本能，滿平靜地回答：「Believe me, Drakaus, you are that kind of man who would not be forgotten that easily.」說完，她不禁露出一抹諷刺的笑。

「Oh, you flattered me, my sweet.」Drakaus摸著滿柔嫩的臉頰，他邪氣地笑著。「And you know, flattery can get you everywhere.」

“Just not enough to make me get out of here.”滿不自覺地掙扎著兩雙被銬在頭上的手臂。「Where is my daughter？」

「Who？」偏著頭，他一副無辜地問。

「Stop pretending you are innocent, Drakaus.」”Because that makes me just want to throw up.”滿的語氣低沉而嚴肅。「Someone told me you have kidnapped Hope.」

「Oh, I see.」心不在焉地應著，Drakaus的右手開始撫摸起滿高舉的手臂。感覺到纖細的肌膚突然冰冷僵硬起來，他的笑容裡露出無限滿足。「And did this someone tell you that this---」暗濁的黑色眼睛對上那雙清澈的藍眼。「---is a trap？」

藍色視線快速地掃描著四周的環境，空盪的廢棄馬房裡除了他們兩人，就不再有任何的存在感了。

“I can't believe this...”沉痛地閉起眼，滿的心裡想起那個一向溫和，容易害羞的少年。”Patrec lied to me.”

「Why did he lie？」深吸一口氣，她淡淡地問。

「Well, that's for you to find out, my sweet.」湊向前，Drakaus吻了滿的額頭一下。他喃喃地說：「Wouldn't want to take that pleasure away from you, now would I？」

“OK, just count to ten. One, two, three.....Ugh！”滿還是忍不住那份在她臉上呼吸的氣息。將頭快速地仰後，冰冷的藍色雷電射近那雙被慾望所混濁的黑眼裡。「What do you want？」

「Why, you, of course.」Drakaus還是自大地回應著。但是他的心跳的確在看到滿冷酷的眼神時漏了一拍。”I am just imaging things.”他這麼告訴自己。當然，在不久的將來他就會發現，這是在他整個人生裡唯一一個看的最清楚的景象。

「Of course.」滿學著他的話，嘲諷地說。”Since I am the one who is locked up against wall here, silly me.”

Drakaus將身體貼向滿，那份柔軟的女人身軀讓他的呼吸開始急促起來。滿的身上總是帶著一股獨特的香氣，那抹甜蜜的氣息在每一夜都糾緊著他的神經，刺激他所有的感官。「You drive me crazy with your sweet smell, Sara.」

滿咬緊牙，不知道究竟是在忍耐著噁心感還是忍著不破口大罵。Drakaus壯碩的身體緊貼著她，那份帶著劣等酒味和馬房刺鼻的騷味融合在一起，讓滿幾乎快嘔吐出來。「That was very sweet of you, Drakaus. But I'd like to remand you about the Conqueror's dislike of sharing.」

「The Conqueror---」他的右手沿著滿白皙的大腿撫摸著，慢慢地往上移去。「--is not here.」

「Drakaus！」滿大喊一聲，制止了那隻差一點就摸進她裙內的手。「Look, you really don't want to do this. When the Conqueror finds out, and she will, she---」

「Then you are already mine.」Drakaus的臉湊近滿，黑眼裡已經有著無法制止的衝動。「Sara, my sweet, when that demon figures out about this place,」他粗魯地撕開滿的淺灰色長袍，讚嘆地盯著眼前潔白柔嫩的肌膚。「I am already done with you, and by the time she finds you, Sara...you are good for no one.」他開始粗魯地吻著滿那紅艷的嘴唇。

藍眼驚訝地張大，被銬著的手臂劇烈地轉動著。

「Damn！」Drakaus突然離開滿的唇瓣，他自己的嘴唇慢慢地流出血絲。「Oh, Sara, you are a wild one.」大聲笑著，他舔了一下唇邊的血液。「I will tame you, and I know I am going to enjoy every minute of it！」

“Why is that every one feels the need to ‘tame’ me？First the Conqueror, now this pig！”滿狠狠地瞪著眼前得意地大笑著的男人，深色藍眼因為怒氣而漸漸變淺，開始閃著白金色的光芒。”I am not some kind of animal, for gods sake！”

將火把掛在牆上，好讓他有兩隻”自由”的手可以好好的來享受他的獵物。露出邪惡的笑，Drakaus的臉又湊近滿的嘴唇。「Now, where were we？」

「Drakaus...」滿的嗓音突然變得十分低沉，她的嘴角甚至帶著抹極為性感的笑容。「You want me, you got me.」柔和黏膩的聲音，在Drakaus耳邊低語著。「You know, I have always wanted a real man to take me...」

「Oh...？」略帶懷疑的眼神盯著她美麗帶笑的臉蛋，Drakaus的耳邊充斥著那份渴望已久的甜美氣息。「Really？But the Conqueror---」

「Never mind the Conqueror.」滿主動將身體貼近他，豐厚的唇瓣始終沒有離開過Drakaus的臉頰。「You were right you know, she couldn't give me what I want---」小巧紅嫩的舌尖輕輕地挑逗著他的耳垂。「---I want a strong man, Drakaus, just like you.」

「Of course.」滿意地笑著，Drakaus一手摸著滿的背，一手慢慢伸近她的裙子裡。「Every woman needs a man. I will give you the time of your life, my sweet.」

「Drakaus, please...」微喘著氣，滿仍然用著那份足以令人發狂的誘人嗓音低低地說著：「I want to touch you...feel your strong body with my hands...is that what you want, Drakaus？」

「Oh, yes, by the gods, yes！」

「Unlock me then, Drakaus...」吻著他的喉結，滿喃喃地說：「Let me touch you, and bring you to ecstasy with my hands...you want that, don't you？」輕咬著粗壯的脖子，火熱的氣息和鮮紅的血絲慢慢地膨脹。「Don't you？」

「Oh, my sweet Sara...Yes！」

「You sure is here？」平淡清冷的音調在Patrec的身旁低沉地問著。

激動地點著頭，Patrec一點也不敢看向那雙冰綠色的瞳孔。當他被侍衛帶到『她』面前時，Patrec的腦海裡不斷重播著他從小聽到大的故事。那個關於被死神和冥王賦予任務，要將死亡帶領至這個世界的少女；那個被戰神永久庇祐，在戰場上所向無敵的戰士；那位以軍事力量和絕對的權威統治著整個希臘的王者。

站在他眼前的，是一個活生生的傳奇。

一個十分憤怒，將要殺掉他的傳奇。

「You listen to me carefully, boy.」冷不防一隻大手抓緊他的脖子，把原本就因為害怕而發抖的Patrec嚇得滿臉更加無血色。「If anything happened to her, you would wish that happened to you.」刺眼的綠光射近那雙害怕睜大的眼睛，嘶啞的嗓音一字一句鑽進他的骨頭裡。「Because what I ‘will’ do to you, is much, much more painful...」削薄的紅唇微微揚起。「...and slow. You definitely will remember every single details, even in your afterlife and the next one.」

Patrec什麼話也沒回答，那隻掐緊他脖子的大手使他根本就難以說話。

因為他連呼吸都快辦不到了。

說完，『她』用力地把他甩到一旁。吸了一口氣，平撫住心中因為那位固執的女孩而生起的擔心和恐懼，『她』踢開馬房的大門。

一片漆黑讓她皺起了眉，閉起深綠如同墨色的眼睛。過了兩秒，她張開眼，適應起黑暗的環境後，她開始搜索著馬房。「Sara！Drakaus！」

走近那面掛著熄滅火把的牆壁，她又喊了一聲。「Sara！Are you here？Answer me, woman, damn it！」

「You don't have to be so happy to see me, you know.」一把輕柔的聲音從牆角悠悠地傳來。

因為放心而開始轉為翠綠的眼睛，仔細注視著那個坐在地上小小的身影。她慢慢走向前，終於望向那片纏繞她腦中與心裡一整天的深遂藍海。「Sara...」

「Yup, it's me.」滿坐在牆角，原本嬌小的身體因為緊縮著，顯得更加柔弱，更令人想保護。面
對著那張蹲下來與她同等高度的白淨臉蛋，她微微一笑。「Hello there, stranger, come here often？」

「Sara？」女孩異常輕鬆調皮的態度讓她懷疑地皺起眉。「You all right？」修長的大手輕輕搭上那柔軟白皙的肩膀，此時她才發現滿的長袍和裙子都被人粗魯地撕裂開來。綠眼因為引發這種情景的可能性而流動著憤怒和不捨，她脫下自己的披風蓋住滿。大手仍然緊緊貼著那柔嫩的肩膀，她輕聲問：「Did you...where did you hurt？」

讓『她』嚇了一跳的是，女孩緩緩地將她的額頭貼向『她』的胸前，一陣甜蜜淡雅的水果香味充斥『她』全身的神經。

「Everywhere.」滿小小聲地回答，柔和的語調裡有著一絲抽噎的情緒。

緊張地吞了口口水，她伸出強壯的手臂環著滿的肩膀，有些不習慣安慰人。「Shhh...it's all right...I am here now...I will take care of you...」

「I know.」窩近溫暖的懷中，她心安地嘆了口氣。滿喃喃說著：「You always do.」

「Where is Drakaus？」不曉得為什麼，抱著女孩的感覺讓她這麼平靜，這麼滿足。她也輕輕地嘆了口氣。

「He is lying there.」將頭抽離開『她』的懷抱，滿看向另一邊牆角。「I knocked him out.」

「You did？！」甩掉心裡那份懷念抱著滿的感覺，她看著地上橫躺著的身體。「How？」

「I took a chance when he unlocked me.」

「Then he did not...you are not...」

「No.」滿站起身，藍眼看著地上被自己擊昏的男人，她語氣平淡地說：「He did not.」

「How did you do that to a man twice your size？」她走近Drakaus身邊，右腳用力地踢了他的頭一下。

「Well, you know what they say, the bigger you are---」

「The harder you fall.」轉過頭看著滿，她微笑著。「Yeah, I know.」

「Besides,」滿抓緊身上垂至地板的披風，她無所謂地說：「size is not everything.」

對滿語帶雙關的話，『她』只是挑起眉。

「Oh, gods, it's not what I meant！」意識到自己話中的雙重意思，滿有些紅著臉，尷尬地對著那雙揚著邪氣的笑臉說：「And you know that, so stop smirking.」

「What？Gee, can't a girl even smile now, you bossy Oracle.」她搖搖頭，領著滿走出馬房。「I am still a Conqueror, you know.」

「Maybe you should brush up your Conqueror Class Book 101. I am sure you skipped a line like...’No Laughing At Your Oracle’.」滿輕鬆地開著玩笑。

挑起的眉毛揚的更高。「Really？I only remember something like...’Rescuing Blue-Eyed Oracle’...this sort of line.」

「Thank you.」滿停下腳步，正經地看著『她』。

「No need for that. I did not do anything, you particularly saved yourself.」低聲回答，她開始思考起如果滿沒有保護她自己的能力，那麼等她趕到這裡時，或許一切都來不及了。

想到這裡，『她』就難以忍住對Drakaus的恨意和那份刺痛著心臟的不捨。

「It's the thought that counts, Conqueror.」小小的手貼上強壯的手臂，滿柔柔地說：「You wanted to save me, and that really means the great deal to me.」溫暖的深色藍眼注視著『她』。「Thank you.」

碧綠色的眼睛看著那雙帶著信任的雙眼。”Blue is the color of trust.”轉過頭打斷兩人的視線，她只是輕聲說：「I wouldn't want it any other way.」

滿微微一笑，知道『她』一向就是個用行動表達勝於言語的人。

「I will have the guides kill Drakaus later.」

滿停下腳步，看著那個將殺人說的像是等一下要買一件衣服的王。

「No, please don't do that.」

「Rape is a crime I despise the most.」她也停下腳步，不明白為什麼滿這個受害者不要她為她復仇。「He deserves to die.」

「No.」滿的語氣還是十分堅定，緊緊地盯著綠眼，她緩緩地說：「He deserves a fair trial, in the forum, front of the public.」

「Why would I give him a trial when I know exactly the crime he has committed？」環起手臂看著滿，她的語氣又回到平時的冰冷。

「But people do not know that.」滿輕聲解釋著。「If you just go and kill him, people would only think that their hot-tamper Conqueror was so bored that she wanted to play with the life of a man, a slave no less.」

「And that would be bad. Because？」她無所謂地笑了笑。

「Because you have to be a true ruler ,My Lord, a fair leader, who is able to bring justice to her people, not death.」

『她』不在意的笑容突然斂去，一雙綠眼危險地瞇了起來。「A true ruler？you think I care about that？」

「I know you don't,」強勢的氣息在滿的眼底表露無疑。「That's why I have to.」

看來今早房間中的歷史又重演了。那兩雙一綠一藍的眼睛，雖然各自鑲在不同女人的身上，但是卻同樣閃耀著熾熱火焰的芒光。

「Lord Conqueror？」Palimon帶著Patrec走近兩人的身邊，有些驚愕於空氣中流動著那種勢在必發的緊繃力量。他看向包著大件披風的滿，知道那件披風是屬於他的王的，Palimon只是清了清喉嚨說：「I am glad you are safe and sound, Lady.」

滿似乎有些不甘願在這次對抗中先喊了暫停，不過她還是轉過頭看向那名英俊恭敬的將軍。「Thank you, General, so do I .」然後又回過頭，瞇起眼看著『她』。”It's not over yet.”

兩道淡金色的眉毛緊緊地皺著。”You just never give up, do you？”

Palimon很不自在地站在一旁，他搔了搔頭，似乎不知道該怎麼打斷她們的『兩人世界』。

「Sa...Sara...？」Patrec小小聲地問：「Are you...are you all right？」

嘆了口氣，滿徹底結束和『她』的精神對抗。不理會在後頭『她』那張得意的表情，走近臉色蒼白的男孩面前，她淡淡地說：「I am fine, Patrec.」

「Sara...I...」Patrec突然跪在地上，哭著說：「I am so sorry...so sorry...」

「Why did you lie to me, Patrec？」滿的語氣還是十分冷靜平淡，聽不出情緒。但看著男孩因哭泣而顫抖著的年輕身軀，她深藍色的眼睛慢慢地充滿同情。

「I...I didn't mean to hurt you, Sara, please believe me！I don't ever want to hurt you...」雙手羞愧地覆蓋著自己充滿淚水的臉，Patrec沙啞著聲音說：「But...but Drakaus said...he...he threatened me...he told me if I didn't help him to get you...he would...he would...」

「Shhh, Patrec, it's all right now, shh...」蹲下身，滿溫柔地抱著他，在他低著的頭上不斷輕聲地安慰著。「Everything's OK, Pat...shhh...Drakaus can't do anything now...」她開玩笑地說：「I knocked him into next year.」

「He said he would go after my mother, Sara...」Patrec灰色的眼睛悲傷地對上那雙向來就用著溫柔與理解的眼神看著他的藍眼。「I...I want to protect my mother, Sara, I didn't know what to do...I just wanted to protect my mother...I never mean to hurt you...I m so sorry...I am so sorry...」

「Pat, your mother is going to be safe.」滿柔聲保證著。「We will not let him hurt people anymore.」

“We？”原本還在一旁環著手臂慶祝自己的勝利，聽到滿這個有點爭議性的字後，她不禁揚起一抹挑戰性的笑容。”Yeah, she never gives up.”

「Will you...will you ever forgive me？」男孩祈求地問。

“Yeah, my Oracle, will you forgive someone who betrayed you and by doing that he nearly killed you？”她感興趣地等著滿的答案。

「Of course. I will forgive you, Patrec.」

“Of course.”她在心裡諷刺地想。”You are too native, girl.”閉緊嘴唇，她的心裡對眼前這個不計一切都可以這麼輕易原諒人的女孩有些失望。

「But,」沒有察覺那個站在她身後的人心裡的想法，滿只是繼續說：「Patrec, I will forgive you, yes. But I will not trust you anymore.」她的聲音沒有之前安慰男孩的溫柔，只剩下平靜的情緒陳述著事實。「You lied to me, Patrec, and that cost my trust for you. I am sorry, but I will never be able to look you in the eye and tell myself that this boy is someone I can trust.」站起身，滿的表情帶著強硬和些許的同情。「And I would appreciate if you did not come anywhere near my daughter.」

「Sara...」Patrec心痛地看著她，然後了解地低下頭。「I understand, I am so very sorry. The words couldn't describe how sorry I am.」

「I know you are sorry, Patrec.」滿輕聲地回答。「Because so am I. You were a good friend.」把男孩從地上扶起來，她微微一笑說：「And I hope one day you would be my friend again.」

「You...You mean...？」他驚喜地問：「You still want me to be your friend？」

「Yes. But you will have to work really hard to earn my trust again, Patrec.」滿柔和地說，但是她堅定的態度絲毫不變。「Before that, I can not promise you anything.」

「I will do everything in my power to make myself be a person who deserves your precious trust, Sara.」Patrec這麼保證，一時之間像個成熟的男人。

滿只是朝他微微一笑，沒有多做評論。轉過頭，她看向異常安靜的『她』。「Can Patrec leave now, My Lord？I am sure his mother is about worried to sick.」

「Huh？Oh---」滿後來對男孩說的話，使她的心裡起了不小的震撼。她思考著滿這麼說的意旨，想著值得原諒與努力補償的問題。”So, she forgave him, but can't trust him anymore. And now she is giving the boy a second chance. The boy---”她看著Patrec那瘦小的身軀，在心裡無奈地嘆了口氣。「Of course, you may leave now, boy.」

「Thanks for your kindness, your Majesty.」Patrec彎著腰答謝，語調還是有著顫抖。

看著慢慢走遠的身影，滿感激地跟『她』說：「I am glad you did not decide to punish him.」

「He is just a child.」她冷淡地回應。

微笑著，滿只是抓緊身上那件溫暖的披風。

「Palimon, go to arrange a trial with Bemitrius.」看著滿那張驚訝的表情，她又得意地微笑起來，這次帶著顯而易見的了解和尊重。「First thing in the morning, in front of the public, the empire is going to tryl a criminal.」

「As you wish, Lord Conqueror.」Palimon臨走前仔細地觀察他的王看著那個女孩的表情，他不由得露出一抹笑容。”The Conqueror has finally met her match.”

「Umm...well...I don't know what to say.」滿有些不自在地撥撥頭髮。

「You are actually speechless,」她緩緩地說：「that's first.」

「Yeah...well...everything has first time.」聳聳肩，滿輕鬆地笑了起來。「But don't get use to it, it might be the last time too.」

「Ah, I will keep that in mind.」微微一笑，她伸出手輕柔地碰著滿有些髒污的臉頰。「He did not hurt you, did he？」

藍眼變得有些迷濛，滿本能地走向前靠著那強壯高大的身軀。她小小聲地說：「I've had worse.」

大手遲疑地收回，綠眼看著她，帶著說不出口的悔恨。

突然寒冷的感覺讓滿馬上伸出兩隻小手握著『她』。「Please don't. I understand why you reacted the way you did, it hurt...I won't lie to you, it still does. But I...I do understand.」閉起眼，滿感覺那雙因長年訓練而帶著繭的大手，緩慢溫柔地與她臉上的肌膚接觸。「We both have to move beyond the pain and hurt of the past, this is the only way we could live our life, not just walk through it.」看著那雙美麗卻悲傷的綠眼，滿多想緊緊抱著『她』，給『她』安慰。即使只有一瞬間，滿多希望她能讓『她』知道那份被原諒的平靜感。「You are what you are now because of the person you used to be, the good and the bad. Changing the past means change what you really are, and I wouldn't want it to happen that way.」

「Why do I get the feeling that you are not just talking about the incident days ago？」她苦笑著問。

「Maybe that's because you are right？」滿無辜地眨了眨眼。

她斂起了笑容，離開滿溫暖的氣息所包圍的領域，使兩人的距離至少有五步遠。像在禱告似地，她開始低沉地說：「You know, when I heard about you were missing...I thought you had run away from me...」看著那雙略帶驚訝的藍色瞳孔，她繼續說：「Just like every one else.」

滿沒有回答，她只是靜靜地站著，讓『她』有時間和空間思考自己要說的話。

「And then...the very first thought came into my mind was vengeance, that I wanted the person who had betrayed me to suffer the pain that them caused in me...that I wanted to...」

「To kill me.」滿低下頭，小小聲地幫『她』接下去。

「Yes.」綠眼悲傷地看著她，然後才嘆了口氣說：「You see, the beast inside of me is too powerful, how am I supposed to control it？」

「What if...what if you really had killed me？」滿輕聲問著：「Would that thought make you feel batter？」她屏住呼吸，不敢知道這個問題的答案。

她緩緩走回到滿的面前，修長的手指把玩著她的捲髮。「When I see you standing in front of me, I am glad you are alive.」冰冷大手蓋住滿的臉頰。「When I hear you speaking to me, I am glad you are alive.」將自己的額頭靠向滿。「When I feel your warm skin against mine, I thank the gods you are alive.」把滿納入自己的懷中，她喃喃地說：「And when I actually prayed the gods to keep you alive, I found out that I could not stand the thought of living a life without you.」

滿終於忍不住伸出雙手緊緊抱著那高大的身體，不理會肩上的披風掉落在地上，她哽咽地說：「Even in death, Uranus,」背後的小手緊抓著『她』的衣服，也緊抓著『她』的心。「I will never leave you.」

「Shhh...don't cry...」兩雙強而有力的臂膀擁抱著胸前嬌小的女孩，她閉起開始流動著水氣的綠眼。「Don't say you won't leave me unless you mean it, because I may do something stupid like...believe it.」

「I mean it, and if the gods shall keep us a part,」淚流滿面卻帶著笑，滿柔和而且堅定地說：「I would just have to find a way to kick their butts and tell them to mind their own business.」

低低地笑了出來，她湊向前，將自己的嘴唇貼在滿的臉頰上。「I have always wanted to test those tears and see if...they were as salty as the sea.」

「And I have always wanted to touch those smiles and see if they were as warm as the spring.」閉起眼用靈魂感受著那份熟悉的溫熱氣息，滿喃喃地這麼回答。

「Come on, you are not healed completely yet.」她拍拍掉在地上的披風，溫柔地覆掛在滿的肩膀上，這一次她強壯的手臂沒有再離開過她。「Get some rest before tomorrow coming.」

「But, you see,」抬起頭微笑地看著那個撘著她的肩膀的人，彷彿是要保護自己不讓外在一切的事物所傷害一樣。「It is already in dawn.」

「Umm, yup, it's.」低下頭，綠眼柔和地看著滿。「That means darkness has gone.」

握緊肩膀上的手臂，黎明的東方在滿身後漸露曙光。當藍眼和那雙清澈的綠眼相對時，她輕聲回應著：「Yes, it sure has.」
